I feel like his character was utterly assassinated, though. Totally unnecessarily. He was suffering the same PTSD as Feyre but somehow only her emotional issues mattered. Did he give off red flags? Yes, but as a direct result of what happened. Same as Feyre. It just manifested differently in them both. I didn't want them together but SJM shouldn't have villainized him the way she did. She went in on him HARD. And it was so jarring

I'm giving you 5 stars!! Every emotion you felt reading books 1 and 2, I relived through you! Imagine not knowing the hype around ACOTAR, then imagine that you had never read a fantasy book, romantacy, or otherwise? That's what happened to me. I picked book 1 up on a whim. I flew through "A Court of Thorns and Roses," so fast! By the time I finished ACOWAR (my fav in the series), It was over. SJM had me hook, line, and sinker. I was so happy to not only see you enjoy the books and watch you experience the same shock, awe, and emotional devastation that I went through. That cauldron scene! Nesta was such as a badass going into the cauldron! A Court of Mist and Fury was my favorite book in 2023. Nothing touched it. 💚💚
