Great video mate. I've always couple both the hot and cold side on a tap to the cold with a tee when I only have cold going to it. That way you get water out both sides of the tap when using it. Also that hot flexy is technically a dead leg that can harbor legionella, not a complaint just letting you know what I do. Keep up the good work. 👍

Nice job there Dan. I’ve been on jobs where you just can’t get going and it makes the day drag…. Once you start it all comes together rather quickly. Shame they didnt opt for a 15L under sink water heater, could have feed the sink and basin.😎 I use the viva basket strainers and i buy a pack of rectangle overflows from amazon which fit perfectly if needed 👍 Great to see you working with dad too 😎😎

I think the Franke basket waste comes with rectangular overflow cover but there was one i think in Toolstation that came with round and rectangular! Have had similar issues when customers do the ordering lol

Great video, remember eye protection when working with dad (I see you went all northern again while talking with him 😂). As an ex pipe fitter that has got to be one of the worst installs I’ve ever seen it’s like a drunk ant walked through a tin of paint then up the wall of the house 😂😂. If it were me I would connect both the hot and cold flexis to the cold feed on those mixers. Blanking off the hot creates a dead leg and a legionella/bacteria risk.
