@@SSHSpartan in the last 8 months i have had this ship from the coal containers and gotten 3 ships from the events where you have to buy a bunch of bundles, but i got them as the first thing seen when looking at the bundles. Belfast 43, Guiseppi Verdi, and a tier 9 Asian BB. i think the most i paid out was 2k dubs (?) or less, the Belfast was only 777 dubs. i heard of others getting these event ships in the first bundles for years, and always thought they were just telling stories to keep from being called a whale, but it actually can happen.

@@joedoe6444 Honestly this is the second day I've been back online in months. Trying to grind out the Wisconsin atm. Decided to check the armory and was checking the Wiesbaden out, thought eh I've got some freebie credits i just got. Wasn't actually expecting to get the ship at all as I've never had any luck on getting special ships. So when I did pull it, I just kinda sat there unable to really react.

As long there ARE players around that don't care much about spending extra on pixels, WG can ask whatever they want. As soon ppl realize that the player base holds the key to prizing (stop buying premium pixels), those prices will go down rather quickly (I would expect)

It's like a San Diego, but with smokes and better torps and the ability to set fires. No heal, but all in all a better ship I think.

Give me a heal over better torps any day. Not to mention sandy can easily become a no fly zone for CVs with DFAA. Cant live without that heal in a light cruiser, since as long as you can manage your citadel you'll be able to actually take a hit and not cry about it

@@M3RUL3Z It's not just the torps. SD is a great ship and I like her a lot, but her lack of HE, combined with her silly torp range and especially the absence of smoke make her more vulnerable. Yeah she has a bit more survivability, but like Wiesbaden she gets overmatched from all angles, so the heal is of limited use. SD is great but her use is more situational, IMO.

While Lutjens makes pretty much every German surface ship better, I wonder at how many would be willing to respec their Lutjens for Wiesbaden, considering she needs a unique build compared to the other German premium ships which have a fair degree of skill overlap.

For Ops I don't think it'd be that different. I just run full Lighthouse on Mainz. Firing from smoke remains a constant of 4.52km with Wiesbaden regardless of how you spec her. Same exact build will work. Just lower DPM/fires in exchange for torpedoes/floods.

The U.S. special commander seems better for ships that rely on guns. Lutjens seems rly good for secondary BBs, or CVs only.

As much as I like this ship for that price I'm just going to buy Manor Lords instead, and then put the rest of the cost in a savings account..... That being said I would like to have it, it could be a fun ranked ship with that conceal as DD hunter. Hydro and smoke with that conceal is crazy.

I love the contrast between the Wiesbaden and the Elbing. Elbing being a DD that behaves more like an anticruiser light cruiser... where as the Weisbaden is a light cruiser that behaves more like an anti-dd dd.

You get salvos of 5k every shot where i have to wait 30 seconds in my battleship to get just about teh same amount of damage out of a single salvo lol

I got lucky with the Wiesbaden and picked it up in one of the two containers they let you get for coal, so basically it was free. I've only had a few games in it so I'm still figuring it out. I've been running it similar to how I usually play the Flint. The longer range guns mean it's not as necessary to play an aggressive early game like with the Flint, but I can't always help myself.

Looks like a fun ship. To me it's like looking at a Mustang at the Ford Dealership, before it went full EV of course, while your Fusion is getting serviced. Yeah it looks nice, but not at that price, way too much. Good video regardless, thank you.

Well, I got the first 3 discounted crates. The second one dropped the Wiesbaden, and the third one dropped 20,000 Free XP (would have been the ship if I hadn't already gotten it). There went all my good RNG for the year! It seems decent... the weak HE is a bit of a bummer, but the torpedos and smoke are nice to have.

This ship is literally a better flint with better arcs. Its such a good ship. It makes flint and Atlanta look like a joke lol it has built in eop and great ap because of the shell arcs. I wish they have us this ship on wows legends console

I feel compelled to get it, despite the expense and that I hardly play at all anymore. It would make 0 sense for me to get this ship.... but it's hard to pass it up when it named for a city so close to where I grew up, and it's the capital city of my home state. This is what WG do they tempt you with a clearly op ship get you to spend big bucks then nerf it a year down the line because they changed the rules to nerfing premium ships any premium ship after 2018 can be nerfed which is the reason they took all the old op ships off sale. Buy at your own risk.

All of the original tech tree ships have been power crept. Most of the time you will be in tier 10 matches w no aa, heal or armor if you play a t8. Not an enjoyable experience

Hi PQ. when you introduce new ships to players, you use a modified HUD and you never know what the ship's camouflage is, what the range of the guns, the range of the torpedoes, the range of the secondary, and when someone wants to know. it is known that everyone can rewind the material to the moment where you present the statistics, they can find them on the Internet, or watch another CC who is playing on the same ship. is that what you want?

There's a lot of information that is hidden even if he went over the nominal ingame stats. I recommend googling "wowssb" and searching the Wiesbaden in there. It'll give *all* of the parameters (except armor layout) and you can compare to any ship ie Mainz.
