A Random gentleman will think you’re young and immature just buy seeing the colour of nails you fix even the long nails you have on, a simple look is more classy looking to distinguished men in general. Please I want you to consider this. Get rid of the fake eyelashes, it’s very important you don’t keep such as your daily makeup. Men see women with fake eyelashes as superficial, high maintenance and young. Serious men want moderate made up women. Don’t look worldly if you’re looking for a man with faith. law 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 speaks on one fleeing from sexual immorality as it is a sin and our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and our body is God’s. Sexual immorality includes fornication which is why it is necessary as a Christian to abstain from sex outside of marriage. Also Romans 2:11 says there is no partiality with God so if you refrain from sexual immoral behavior yet still are sinful in other areas you don’t receive favor. Sin is sin to God whether it’s sexual or not.

Lots of women are celibate. That’s very common. So I would just say to ladies, don’t let it bother you. Try to stop thinking things like: “I’m 23 or 27 or whatever and still a virgin.” Bcuz the reason you’re celibate or still a virgin has nothing to do with sex. You’re celibate bcuz you don’t want an unreal relationship. To be in it by yourself with someone feeding on you, which is being there on business and draining you out and you don’t count with them. In other words, you don’t want to bother with a guy who just want sex or to use you. Which is 100% right on your part. Just keep on keeping on. And when you encounter people who naysays celibacy or you being celibate, don’t let it bother you, and simply realize that they don’t know any better. Especially if their personal life is a bigger mess than yours. They may be getting the thang thang regularly, but they are also getting a whole lot of bullshit with it. That remember, you are free of. So you got the right idea... Stay on your journey.

There's more to it to be honest, but small steps. If its truly a journey to re ground yourself without attachments to religion or spirituality , you might like bathing in rose/flower petals, oils, milk... things that make you feel super feminine, to regain the feminine essence you lost from your previous relationship. Others, you know, christians for example spend some time praying, meditation, going to church, fellowshipping with their church family... and alot of times, it's a combination of any of the ways I've mentioned. Sis, I don't get the 'buh it's a long time'. I get you don't mean any harm by this but there's no need for a but, no need for her to be discouraged. The only but over here is.. but GOD. Because Lamentations 3:24-26 "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "Therefore I have hope in Him." The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, To the person who seeks Him. It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD. Romans 8:28 28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 10:11 As scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame." Truth is how can you wait in vain if you are waiting on the CREATOR, THE MAKER OF HEAVEN AND EARTH who CAN DO ALL THINGS AND WITHOUT HIM NOTHING WOULD EXIST! This is the beauty of faith. We don't just believe. We believe in guaranteed assurance KNOWING Numbers 23:19 God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Listen our GOD is real. HE is alive and well and HE sees the waiting. And HE WILL NOT FAIL! DOES NOT FAIL! CAN NOT FAIL! We have to understand there's something called GODS timing. Ecclesiastes 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: And the fact that Ecclesiastes 3:11 God has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. GOD knows HIS plans for your life. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. We have to trust HIM. HE knows what's best for us. And HE wants to guide us into HIS perfect will for our lives. So no, no matter how long we wait, we do not wait in vain. Because faith is HE!! Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. AND HE WILL FULFIL HIS PROMISE!!! 2 Corinthians 1:20 For no matter how many promises God has made, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the glory of God. So we don't doubt. We say YES AND AMEN!! Therefore brethren, everything reading this be encouraged! GOD knows why HE did it this way. Because HE loves you and wants to protect you. Sex is a gift to be unwrapped in the institution of marriage. Let's live a life pleasing and honouring to GOD as it says in Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. SO KEEP GOING! You aren't alone. Galatians 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. GOD bless you 💕

STAND FIRM ! When I find myself tempted or thinking "What If..." I think about how far I've come, how God changed me and blessed me since I decided to refrain from that specific act, and know the time amount of time I've been waiting is not bigger than the blessing that is ahead of me. Sometimes our bad decisions pushes us further away from reaching our destiny. Then, I think about the guilt I felt when I fell into that temptation awhile back because I was pleased within that moment and I was disappointed in myself, sick to the stomach, and had no choice but to get on my knees and ask God for forgiveness once again. We are playing this game called Life, we are given so many chances, How ? When we wake up in the morning and God placed breath in our bodies. There will always be temptation but seek the Kingdom of GOD and read his word whenever an ounce or a grain of thought about parting from your celibacy journey clouds your judgement. The enemy isn't happy, he's wondering why is Amina leaving such great pleasure and will try to talk into your head and purposely allow you to see those who are "living their best life" with their flesh. Ask God to give you understanding and deeper clarity about "The Wait" that he soar with you above the storms of confusion and question. You did it for 15 years and I am sure you can do it for some more, till you have the ring, wedding, and exchange vows from a man who seeked God's heart before wanting yours.

Yes sis, that's it! Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. CHRIST tells us to do so for great reason/reasons. And the core of that is HIS GREAT love for us. HE doesn't tell us not to have sex before marriage to limit us or restricts us but to free & protect us. We also need to obey HIM. And sis, YOU CAN do all things through CHRIST JESUS who strengthens you. (Philippians 4:13) What you are doing is beautiful and GOD is not blind nor deaf to it. Trust the process, and trust the wait. Also trust HIS divine timing for GOD is perfect and so is ALL HE does. TRUST THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY! Ecclesiastes 3:1 3 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet[a] no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end. Sis, if your believing and trusting in GOD then you are literally in the best hands, the safest hands, the sweetest hands. Because it is HIM who created you with love, in love, and it is HIM who knows what's best for you and your life. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. So we continue to press on in faith knowing Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Romans 12:1-2 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God-this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will. And HIS will for you dear sis is that, perfect. So be encouraged! GOD has not forgotten you!! As for your friends sis. GOD's Word tells us that Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. I'm not saying they are terrible people but truthfully 2 Corinthians 6:14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? Sin separates us from GOD. We must be careful who we walk with being reconciled to CHRIST. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be deceived: “Bad company ruins good morals.” Proverbs 27:9 "Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel" 1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. Hebrews 10:24-25 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near. GOD makes it very clear the necessity to walk with like-minded people. People who will build you up in your faith. GOD knows we can get discouraged, things happen that's why Godly community is imperative. Ecclesiastes 4:9 'Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Praise be to JESUS who is our HELPER and also picks us up. But remember though, JESUS had HIS seeet fellowship with the FATHER. HE demonstrated to us the need for Godly community (his disciples.) I'd suggest you prayerfully seek GOD because GOD has great things for you. And Christ-like brethren is one. For us all. GOD bless you! Stay encouraged in the LORD. 💕

I really do admire you and how you've made this decision to abstain from sex. I am 22 and have never had sex before just because of my background and how I never want to disappoint my parents, most of all, I am a christian and I understand what it means to be celibate. What I will say is that you should keep being strong and a lot of people are looking up to you(especially young people like me). Lets show people that making the decision is hard but its worth it. Love you....

Giving up ain't worth it....from sexual transmitted diseases to a broken heart...be prayerful, fast if you must for God to send you an extraordinary Man of God! Hold on Ladies, I remember feeling that way...I made a few compromising steps and regretted it. My ministry too is dedicated to helping women "wait for God's best!"

Yess sis educate em on the abstinence/celibacy debate! They're literally synonyms, people always wanna find something to nitpick about😒. Anyway let me continue watching the video..your journey has been so inspiring and I am only 5 months in! I showed a pic of u to a friend last week actually and he really couldn't believe that you've been celibate all these years cos you're so beautiful. May God give us the strength to continue to resist lustful thoughts and falling into temptation 💗🤗

I was blessed by the honesty and transparency of this vid! Legit, the journey can be peak sometimes, however, thank God for His steadfast love and abundant Grace to be committed to the journey. That even includes moments when one falls but doesn't use that to remain side-tracked. Praying for all of y'all to remain firm in your decision, and for those who are Christians, that the good news of The Gospel gives you strength!

I think we should have a “Celibate speed dating” event where people in this comment section all gather cause chile’ these people be tryna try before they buy. Therefore we get to meet like minded boyfriends/girlfriends if not at best friends who hold each other accountable 👌🏾💃🏽 Event not in London though cause it’s not everyday London sometimes East Midlands 😭😂 Congratulations on 15 years baby may God give your forever man & may he be amazing in every which way 😏😉😂 (sorry mum)

9:17 is a good point, there are definitely times when I have to remind myself of the reasons why I'm doing this to strengthen my conviction. I also hear what you're saying at 11:27 some people don't care to understand they just want to argue and that can be on any kind of topic. Keep the journey up, I've been going for over 15 years now.

I relate when you talked about ppl asking questions about your journey only to argue and make you sound or think you're crazy .i've been on my celibacy journey a year and five mths now and i've already encounter those kind of ppl,why can't they understand it's how i want to live my life pleasing to god and just because i've lived a life of having sex doesn't mean i'm trying to belittle anyone .it's just my journey and ppl should just respect that ,periodt.

I am a virgin (I’m 22) and I am going through something similar to you. Question: in terms of the sexual thoughts, what do you do when reading the Bible and praying doesn’t seem to be working to combat the thoughts? I really try, but sometimes I fall in the way of “self pleasuring,” and it’s hard sometimes. I understand that God desires our purity, and not just our virginity. My prayer has been to have clean hands and a pure heart, but I’m still a work in progress.😪

@@naomia5475 I read both passages and I appreciate you sharing, however, my question was how to overcome lustful thoughts, not which scriptures condemn it. I am already aware that it is a sin, the question was how to effectively move forward.

But when I pray and read my bible, God promise me that there is someone for me, my body is worth more than anything in the world. I cannot risk giving my body to these type of worldly men. As women we should be very careful there are many nasty spirit out here that come to destroy. So I'll wait for my husband no matter how long it is, ima trust in God.

I'm 20 and celibate. It's definitely a struggle because people my age don't really date seriously it's mainly sex. But it's a great filter for people who are interested in you for the wrong reasons because eventually they get tired when they realise you aren't giving up 😂 I'm very open with my faith in friendships and getting to know people so I find that helps because no-one is really too shocked when I say I'm celibate. I can relate a lot to what was said here, it's definitely a struggle but reminding yourself the reason for why you've done it in the first place, always keeps me motivated again.
