A little back story, money is really tight at Tristate HQ at the moment, and I would've missed the preorder for this knife. I had realized that fact not 30 minutes before I filmed this unboxing, so the emotions were magnified and amplified up to 11.
Quick correction - The New Thick Boy blade steel is CPM-20CV, NO S35VN.

So, just sharing my thoughts on the newly dropped Thick Boy v2….it’s BOSS! Hands down one of my favorites. The action was tight at first, but it has broken in nicely. The slight milling on the bolsters and pocket clip (for the uncoated version) is really a nice touch. Thank you for showing it and highlighting EMP EDC 👌🏼

The area between the choil and finger groove… also is this one made by Bestech like first one? I’d think with all success he’s been having from QSP and all NYMBLE’s that he would at least have ONE RUN of QSP made THICC BOYS?

As far as I know the V2 is also Bestech Made. And the blade steel this go 'round is 20CV. Personally, I think outside of Reate, Bestech is putting out the best Chinese OEM'd knives lately. Build quality is unreal the past few months. Cheers man

It's not so much the knife. It was the culmination of a rough month, a really rough day, general stress and anxiety of trying to juggle a house, a marriage, a full time job, 2 part time jobs, and making youtube videos. All of that was on my shoulders when I sat down to film this. And for whatever reason, seeing that note that said "enjoy" just opened the flood gates. I think this is an excellent example of how great this community is. And how sometimes it's the little things that can make all the difference. Cheers.
