I commented this on the last vid but I’m not sure if you saw, dev is very dependent on awareness, ex. A awareness is the only way to get X factor or superstar, B can get star, and C awareness is almost always normal

Suggestion: The anti-rebuild or the (tear down).... take a good team and make them as bad as possible keeping players in their same position... or start with a fantasy draft and draft the worst possible team (maybe you can troll a seahawks divison rival team this way)

Here’s a rebuild idea. You only draft defense in the fantasy draft, filling your team until every defensive position is picked and they have backups, then aim rest of draft. Here are the rules: You get to give yourself the absolute best defensive playbook in the game. Any scheme, any playbook. However, you can only build defense through free agency and resigning, no drafting. Now for offense: You can only draft offensive players, no free agency. Resigning players is allowed. You give yourself the absolute worst offensive scheme and playbook. Now you do this but switch offense and defense and you call the video, “Does defense really win championships?” You sim 10 seasons and find out which team has the best finishes and compare the teams after that time.

I think you should do a rebuild where you only play with players like the highest stat. Like only a team of players with the highest speed or strength or you could spin a wheel and do a random stat. You could do a fantasy draft or whatever

Just so you know, DTs at 390+ lbs and elite strength are very often superstar or X factors. That's usually the 99 strength building. I look for those guys in my drafts and I make a point to take them. Every so often you'll get someone like the guy you took but more often than not it's a good pick. Same with the 4.2 speed QBs and 6'9" WRs. If those QBs are low overalls they'll sometimes be solid WRs or RBs. It's supposed to be like the Julian Edelman types.

i’m not sure if you’ve done it already but have you ever tried the in-state challenge? You pick one team and can only rebuild players from colleges in that state. If the team only has one college you can do a few states. A harder rebuild idea I have is every year you have to trade away your best player in every position every year and try to win a championship.

Set draft class strength to very weak for every position, then sim 10 years in the future and set the draft back to normal and rebuild in a league of weak teams, i did this myself and it was so fun

I've had the idea of wanting to do an "alphabetical order only rebuild". Basically, you choose a letter out of the alphabet, using a randomizer, and you can only choose players whose names start with that letter. On another note, do a "backup only" rebuild using career backup players only!

check the draft class strength, I don’t remember how to change it, but you can watch a tutorial on how to do it. If that’s not the case, then you’re probably just really good at drafting
