The Giants’ copy of the Michigan Wolverines’ helmet design is a tribute to the old leather helmet designs. They should have kept the jersey design simple, and kept the pants in a color that matches the jersey.

The Giants uniforms are historic and designed to commemorate the 100th season. They are based on the uniforms the Giants wore when they won the NFL Championship in 1934. Back then, they had the striped socks and tan coloured pants (look up 1934 Giants). The helmet has absolutely nothing to do with the Wolverines, but instead represents the helmet the Giants wore for most of the 1930s/1940s. Back then helmets were leather and many had three leather strips sewn on for reinforcement, and these strips were often a different colour leather to the rest of the helmet. So the Giants had red strips on a blue helmet and the Wolverines had yellow strips; the Bears had orange strips, which is why we saw a similar design for them a few years ago. I'm glad they're doing something that honours tradition. 👍

Me personally, I am not a fan of the constant nod to ‘the old days’, retros, and overall basic and formulaic uniforms. Like both Lions and Jets are trying to pay homage to the retros, and add that basic stripe on the shoulder pads. I want uniforms that break the mold, like the banger H-town uniforms, creating new history. They could one day become the classics/retros to a new generation. But for every H-Town innovation, we get a Denver stinker. I think that’s why designers play it so safe with old school jerseys.

I hate the horrible underrated uneducated takes about Andy Dalton.. He has 246 TDs 144 INTs 38511 YDs that's more than Y.A. Tittle, Len Dawson, Terry Bradshaw, Steve Young, Jim Kelly, George Blanda, Troy Aikman, Kurt Warner, Kenny Stabler, Bob Griese, Otto Graham all in HOF. Also more than Rich Gannon, Joe Flacco, Donovan McNabb, Steve McNair, Matt Hassleback, Phil Simms all SB starting QBs. Or fan favorites like Randall Cunningham or Cam Newton who was the 1st pick in the same draft as Dalton yet has 52 less TD passes.. He went to a 4-11-1 Bengals and went 9-7, 10-6, 11-5, 11-5, 12-4 his first 5 years as a starter..

He also only hit 4000 passing yards twice in his career, only threw over 25 touchdowns twice, and never made it past the wildcard round. He's a great backup QB, but he is not a starter that can elevate his team. I think every QB you named either played in a completely different era, is bad, or had a career ended by injury.

The Texans new alternate red is an eyesore. It would be better with another color of pants. I also kind of disagree with your Giants take. People have compared the new throwback to the Canadiens, but I like those uniforms as well. The only other direction they could have reasonably gone was with white pants. I made mockups with red and blue pants and neither of them looked right. Other than that, good stuff. The new Lions set is my personal favorite overall.

Broncos are definitely Andy Dalton tier for me 😂😂. The only positive i can point out about them is the amount of potential combinations they can wear, with the white jersy/ blue pants/ blue helmet combo looking the best they have to offer (besides their throwback). Outside of that, the sleeve design is 🐕 💩, the design on the helmet is 🐕 💩, the striping on the pants is 🐕💩..... they really fumbled the hell out of their redesign. These should go into the bin just like those digital clock Buccaneers unis 😂
