I can think of a lot better things I’d want to happen this month lmao, being an adult is hard. But I love the long videos, obv I’m a big fan of all of his channels and I don’t watch live TV at all, (beside NBA/NFL rly) so it’s really nice to get a long vid to watch. I wish he’d do more 30-40+ min videos in general, and do like 1hr+ videos like at least 1-2x a month. I think I speak for a LOT of ppl when I say I prefer the 30-40+ min vids to the 15-20min ones. He can save the 1hr+ ones for stuff like this, maybe long challenges, (Bill Russell, LBJ, MJ, etc) and the occasional like career simulation or a regular 10yr rebuild. But ya that’s why I love podcasts in general, especially his. I’m a podcast junkie, (also listen to some audio books) and those are usually at least an hour. Live TV sucks outside of what I already mentioned, (NBA/NFL for me, but sports in general) since I can just find good series on streaming services or w/e. This is really the worst time of the year though. Right after the last finals game, the draft is usually really soon after…like a week or whatever. There’s usually a lot of rumors flying too. Then Free Agency is like a week after that, again tons of rumors etc. then trades and stuff. That leads to Summer League which is cool. Then there’s this horrible dead period between like mid July and early September when NFL starts (and 2K23 comes out) that’s like 8 weeks. I can’t stand MLB so it’s the worst time of the year for sports by far. Then at least we have NFL to hold us over for the 5-6 weeks before NBA starts. But ya I wouldn’t be mad if they just somehow allowed me to skip those 2mo 😂

Hey Kenny, just an idea I had but instead of trading away all the 40 overalls with the bad contracts, you could let them all play out and have it be like you’re unlocking roster spots. For example if you let the John wall contract run it’s course when it was over that would be the year you could sign a max player because the cap would free up. And it would help to progress such a long rebuild more naturally. Just an idea, love the videos!

I lowkey just thought of a BANGER video but i don’t have a title, basically you start with a 40 overall team and each year you "rebuild" to get a sllightly better record than the previous year. if your team does worse, you lose, if they tie, you lose. the goal isnt to win championships but instead to get as many seasons as you can before you fail. For example: 40 ovr team goes 0-82, your goal should be rebuilding 1-81 but be careful for underachieving teams!

I had this idea of creating a team using the my player builder that's on current gen 2k. For a while ppl have said 2k made everyone trash in previous 2ks because of the limitations. Because of the pie charts you can only be one-sided. I think creating the best possible builds at every position in the my player builder den imputing them in the create a player.(attributes, height, ect, for stats thts not included in the my player build such as pass iq nd offensive efficiency, leave around 80-90) and see can this team of 2k builder creations win the NBA championship As for as tendencies use some kinda NBA player randomizer at positions nd thts who tht player would play like.( In order to have the NBA players tendencies you'll have to download they're dna to the create a player with import dna before changing the attributes to the my player builder attributes) I hope I explained this good enough nd tht you see this think it's a great idea and make it come to be. hi kenny! as a tribute to terry manis, here’s the “one last hoorah” rebuilding challenge: do a fantasy draft then sim the first season. go straight to player retirements. then overturn at least five player’s decision to retire. rebuild and put them in one team and make them win their last championship together. you can have other players on your team but the number of overturned players must be greater than those players. give urself a 2-3 year try. goodluck!

Kenny has a record of 79-23 (77%) in successful rebuilding challenge. I'm here to challenge you to the first rebuild challenge you failed in the 2K22 cycle. The first rebuild challenge you failed was: Turning Trash into Treasure 9/13/21. I've also accounted for every other challenge you failed in the cycle and I also accounted for every single player you didn't win a championship with in a successful REBUILD challenge. 225 players weren't used and only 174 are in 2K.
