Restarting races will only fix your car cosmetically and your brakes. if you blow your engine or break your driveshaft you have to actually repair the car before racing.

you need a 5 speed manual to take more easy on the radiator or a drag race radiator and then you need racing brakes and pads. you may need wider rims for wider tires such as 15x11 or 12's like the adler.

To be honest thats my favorite car in beam, when your upgrading id use atleast a stage 2 block and dual quad port carbs or just the 8 single carbs also use a 5 speed tranny lol

Bro you are using cross ply tires and this is why your car so bad to drive I recommend using some sort of sporty muscle car wheels and sporty tires that probably will come with the wheels make sure they are radials tho About brakes i suggest swapping the brake pads for full race ones it is cheap and they are not easy to fade On my supertruck build i have faded them but again breaking with 3 tons on board is a bad idea
