@@kylenunez2820 well tbh 2k needs to update the rosters he should be about a 82 or 83 rn instead of a 70 something, i updated the rosters and did a rebuild before this video came out kept rui and austin starting traded AD and d lo and some others and won back to back championships rui had a 18ppg 16ppg and 20ppg season

I love LaVine’s fit on LAL (offensively & in 2K but SHEEESH that contract) but you went against your own motto Kenny! Get assets & flip’em. You could’ve gotten wayyyyyy more movable salary out of it, added some picks, and been overall been way better off by bringing e1 back. Could’ve kept Cason. Re-signed Rui, kept Vando, Christie, re-signed DLo to a lil more $ maybe like 4-5M more Y1, picked up the TO’s on Bamba & Beasley, ($16M and $10.3M deals) use MLE, pickup Schroder & LW if they let you do both (saw you got LW & Crowder), then obv AR. That would’ve been like, idk, $90M in salary across mad ppl maybe more like $90M. Not even counting AR. Keep AR, prolly flip Schroder for a pick, LW for one, Crowder for one. Vando+DLo+two 1sts (I assume Crowder LW Schroder gets you at least 3 maybe 4 picks) prolly gets you a really good player. An 85ish like LaVine but making less prolly. Cuz DLo/Vando would like $30M’s, if you need a lil more (I don’t think you would) could throw in Christie too. $32M should be able to bring you back someone rly good making up to like $35-$38M at least, maybe $40M if 2K uses the 125% thing. Then you got AR, LBJ, AD, third star, an extra pick or two, Rui, Bamba, Beasley, and Cason plus minimum guys. Assuming you keep AR, (idk how well he progresses) you still have $26.3M, plus w/e Rui got, (prolly $15M+) Cason, and a pick or two. So $43-$45M. What’s Rui+Cason get you? Bamba and a pick? Beasley and a pick? Diff combos of those. Maybe you keep Rui and wait til the deadline, or flip him now. But you could’ve likely had a LaVine type overall, but with AR, and at least 3 other low 80s guys on multi year salaries that would let you have way better depth, and the ability to flip some later like next off season or the deadline. LBJ, AD, 85ish ovr, AR, at least 2-3 more 80s bc Rui is already one I think so if you flip him and Cason you’d prolly get a mad valuable guy in the 82+ range, then Beas + pick and Bamba + pick (might’ve picked up another pick in the other trades too so could have two picks to throw in to one of these, and one in the other) and you got LBJ/AD/85ish ovr/AR/80+ ovr that’s younger w rly good potential/then either two more 78-79+ guys that are p young, or another 80+. So big 3 plus AR and 3 more 80s on multi year deals, or 2 more valuable pieces w potential. Would’ve been a lot easier to build that way than how you did it. Get assets & flip’em! I learned that from the best.
