The marlins seem cyclical, win World Series or division and tear everything down immediately after. Oakland was good for a long time there and the owner got snarky and defensive with the city and basically as retaliation tore it down to essentially a double A team.

Frontloading deals can be more beneficial, it's not just about the current seasons budget. Now on an extension yeah that's a slip up, but mixing in front and back loaded contracts can definitely help keep the budget balanced. If all the deals are back loaded you will run out of money eventually.

I had CJ abrams pop off for me in my nationals rebuild, shit has been so fun tried to keep as many guys as I could, Brady House, Crews, Woods and Gore still core pieces after a recent Departure from Abrams and Stone Garrett who brought home 2 World Series during their time

i know at this point in the year you're focused on team rebuilds, but down the road, how about a "mlb reset" everyone goes back to the team they DEBUTED in MLB with? awesome video as always, and a wardrobe chage lol, that first draft was NUTS, i'm running into an issue of only signing 2-4 guys a draft even with scouting set to manual, guys just wont sign even at 70+% interest. always a fun watch!

Not generational technically, as they have to be 99 overall to be considered "generational". i think they also have to have at least 80 ovr, but i could be wrong. Very good draft pick, and could definitely be a hall of famer, but by technical terms, not quite generational

I edit them before I start a franchise Load the roster you want, edit player with the contract details you want, save roster, start a new franchise with that roster You cannot edit a contract within a franchise that's already started

If you can convince Marlins ownership that spending money on players is a key way to have success in the show then we might have a shot lmao. Marlins dont want to spend money and its been that way since the Loria days and even when they did win the WS in the 90s they blew up the team. As a Marlins fan that lives in South Florida, fans will NOT show up if the team is not successful and that goes for basically all sports down here. Marlins Park has a better attendance when the WC is here as well as the new CC and ik that because ive gone to all events. The only time the Marlins had a chance on building something good was the Stanton, Ozuna, Dee Gordon, Jose Fernandez days and that was blown up as soon as JF passed away.
