@@StateoftheFranchiseGamingthere isn’t any tell tale sign that a pitcher is generational like there is for a hitter but I’ve noticed that K/9 & BB/9 are usually higher than H/9 on pitchers.

It’s incredibly difficult to scout a lot of hitting prospects compared to pitching. I wish they’d change the scout position option to how its set up in discovery (pitcher, catcher, infield, outfield) so we could get more info on a whole infield crop rather than just 2B or just SS. Good hitting prospects are so hard to find but you could draft 7 A-B POT pitchers every class

I watch and enjoy a lot of your rebuilds, and just wanted to leave a comment to let you know that this rebuild was my favorite one in a while. I was super invested in it the whole way. I know that this type of video takes ages to make, and I imagine that poring through so many prospects, trying to learn which ones might project well, etc., must be pretty mentally exhausting. Not to mention all of the annoying little roster stuff and bugs in MLB The Show. (I really wish they'd put a bit more into the offline modes btw, I still play MLB The Show 20 for the RTTS, since it's been pretty bad since then lol.) The point I'm trying to make is I really appreciate the time and effort that went into this video, and I'm hoping you see enough enagagement and enjoy it enough to do more like it.

If I draft a pitcher with only 2-3 pitches as a starter I add them a new pitch but make it 20 overalls less then the worst pitch they have. So if their worst pitch is like 50 control I’ll make their new pitch a 30 control.

That pitch would then be almost unusable with 30 control (in sim) if you played you may be able to work around it if you're good with any of the user controlled inputs (pinpoint, analog or meter). All pitchers come with 3 pitches minimum.

That’s one of the things the show does with prospects I cannot stand. There are usually 5-6 per class and they immediately begin regressing. It doesn’t make any sense to say a guy is that good and only ever has the opportunity to go backwards. After my drafts in franchise I go through all the AI teams and match those player’s potential to their starting overall.

Ahhh Postseason rosters being jacked up when you start, must be #FranchiseSzn . I wish they would let us handle that ourselves with those who are eligible and not just shuffle the deck unnecessarily. Sometimes they make it impossible to shuffle things back to how you had it thru the regular season.
