Unfortunately the automated system sucks and bans people wrongly all the time, but GMs at Blizz take it as the gospel and will not help fight your cases.

I just caught a 10 day ban from Alterac Valley, literally today. I get off work, go to log in, and met with an account suspended message; and before anyone says "well at least it's only 10 days bro, come back fresh and renewed" honestly don't give a flying rats ass. This is entirely scummy. All of it. I'm out 10 days now because I played the game? Came back to WOTLK after leaving for 2 years too..... This seriously needs to be fixed. Like this is beyond ridiculous. We need to make a class action law suit.

Do you know the reason behind the ban? Are they blaming you for AFK because you were capping stuff? If so, you need to take it up to every wow social media out there. And make screenshots in case they delete/ban you from there too. Then post those on the sites where they can't censor you and draw attention to it. Blizzard really just wants to lose all their fans at this point. There's no way they even remotely care what's gonna happen from now on.

It's absolute insanity. I'm going to appeal my appeal to see if they can at least reduce the ban. I am 100% certain I was participating in all of my BGs and I was definitely defending towers a lot of the time. Thing is, when the opposing faction did come to take back their tower, I was always there to try and stop them. Some games they didn't come for their towers at all and I think that's why I'm now banned.

So far, I've been really lucky in AV, no chat ban even tho I'm communicating a lot to get infos and give infos, when I'm with my 4 mates, we go base and stay there to prevent them to get anything in there (trust me, it's wayyyy funnier this way, and you get around 1.1k - 1.5k per game, sadly it doesn't work when you play alone). Fully geared now, but I must admit I don't want to launch another AV because I fear I might get a ban for actually wanting to play the BG, that's fucking sad. I'll just be chilling in arathi if I wanna do some pvp from now on until wotlk comes out.
