Thanks for watching!
In this video, I talk about how to become more consistent when aiming in FPS games. I primarily play Reyna and ever since I started doing this I have been able to fight mid-most rounds in immortal and still see great results. Hopefully, this helps you guys as much as it has helped me!

@@fernandorivera4719 I know I'm late but I just wanted to say that you are right, you will definitely get one tapped most of the time but It's crucial to take it slowly at the beginning, you have to take your time for sure. In the end it's better to take it slowly at first because the only way to improve is to play the game and using your brain. For aiming speed, that comes from time, the more you have experience the more speed you will gain in your aim.

okay so i didn’t finish this video all the way but i had a very similar realization which makes me super excited to share this with you. reading the inner game of tennis, the author explains how you need to be aware of where your racket is at ALL times. He would have people hit balls then ask them where it was when they missed or hit, and most people wouldn’t know. the key is to FEEL and be AWARE of where it is at ALL times, while letting your eyes be 100% focused on your target. The more details and the clearer you see your target the BETTER. Doing this, you should always notice exactly why or how you missed. So extremely helpful, knowing what you do would lead to more questions soon enough, hopefully my comment is enough to help you out or encourage you to look into the inner game of tennis

It's good to practice crosshair focused training and target training. In small static dot scenarios where accuracy is key, you can train your crosshair awareness. Whereas in dynamic dots or non accuracy dependent flicking scenarios you can focus on the target. Once you do all of these enough, it becomes second nature. Although, the biggest tip is to just work on perfect crosshair placement. It's super easy to hit the head when it's always a horizontal flick. When crosshair placement is bad, then it becomes a challenge to break the habit of bodyshots

I’m glad this has made you feel confident, but I think you’re finally feeling confident because your game sense is starting to be on par for your rank. I think “good aim” results from being able to predict and know what the enemy is going to do. You’re not overthinking anymore in live rounds, and you have been soaking in information on how to improve. Your brain can finally focus and make all the right decisions at the right time without distraction.

A tip that helped me as a diamond ascendant player was to make sure to give yourself a second to actually aim before firing. I struggle with this a lot because you see the pros insta flick and kill someone and think "I need to do that too!" In most cases. Outside of the highest rank maybe. You can just give yourself half a second to actually line up the shot. Process their location in your brain first, then look at your crosshair and make it meet with them. Another tip I learned watching shroud is that if you miss your first bullet that doesn't mean all is lost and you have to go for body shots. The first 4 shots on the phantom and the first 3 on the vandal are so close to the cross hair they might as well be dead center. Because if you miss the first bullet of a spray, try to continue spraying (at medium range to close range ofc) and dragging your cross hair to their head while spraying, those first few shots will kill them. Even if it's not the *first* one

@kal2352
@kal2352 Жыл бұрын
So the focus should be where your crosshair is, and where the enemy head is, and to bring the two together, and then shoot. This will lead to a consistent aim. Even if you miss or get killed, you know exactly why whether it be crosshair placement, slower crosshair movement speed, or poor movement. What new players do is shoot reactively the instant they see an enemy. This requires a lot of more focus during the game though.

Aiming in Valorant should be two movements. Not one. One flick to the target, and one micro adjustment. I love your point, but it might need some elaboration for some lower level players to get. You should probably be focused on your target for the first movement, and then focused on your crosshair for the microadjustment. If you watch and slow down any pro player shooting bots you should see the 2 movements. I love the content keep it up

I used to and do some exercises in the range for this. Easy bots (i have dot crosshair 1 outline 1) and line the dot with the single bot eye. Never shoot unless it's perfectly aligned. Ex2 Ez bots again but now you just jiggle the crosshair in different directions imagine an X you move one time / up to down trying to draw that line in their head without going out and shooting at any moment during that movement A PLUS= + you move left to right or up to down or right to left and down to up jiggling a little then shooting AND A SPIRAL , you do this around their head clockwise then counter clockwise. You do this to get a feel about microadjusting and getting a feel about the margin of error . Anyone below 19% hS , should be practicing aim tasks like this much more cause if you are below 19% you are below average and you are a liability. Aim for 25% + , anything above 30% is great but it is with diminishing returns you need to be better at movement gamesense agility reaction time if you are above 30% , I have seen some people with 40% hS but they get 10 kills per game it's not worth it they can't win rounds can't clutch rounds they are too focused on their aim their game is lacking a lot of other aspects

Tried hard bots to see where do i focus crosshair or target. When I deliberately focused on the target i performed worse than my average when I focused on crosshair i hit my normal so I guess subconsciously i focus on my crosshair and I have set it to the smallest and notice when I am tired i need to make it bigger cause I lose track of it . But what he says both i thinks he means confirming it's in the head. So you are focused on your crosshair but then before shooting you check is it on their head then you shoot. That's what he prob means but doesn't have the vocabulary to explain exactly what he is doing maybe cause he is new to it. Kind of like the myagi , so essentially this is another myagi video.

your subconscious isnt reinforcing that your crosshair needs to be on target's head when you shoot, maybe thats why you whiff, i would recommend doing small static dots and dynamic dots and before you shoot you will consciously confirm if crosshair is on target or not until you get the hang of it where you subconscious will do it better without you needing to consciously think about it

I finally sat down yesterday trying to improve at Valorant, and this is exactly what I found with aim. I'd focus on the CoM of their head, but my crosshair would still inaccurately flick/miss my target/CoM of head, so I started focusing on both (CoM of head+crosshair) and now I'm more consistent. (PS: also been top fragging for all my games since, b3->s1 'easily', still had to focus n such)

@@cyclicaltick73 yeah ur overthinking it tbh, just gotta keep moving till u get ur crosshair lined up on their head then stop and tap, in ur rank till like gold everyone is gonna crouch spray and be an easy target so if u stay mobile and take ur time aiming even with bad aim u will kill them 9 times out of 10

@@nabssssss Trust me in plat/dia lobby they crouch too. They annoy me so much because I always place my crosshair at head level and when they crouch I miss their heads.

You could have explained how you trained yourself to focus on the crosshair too, man

I think if you’re busy with life and can play VALORANT sometime then use lower sens because my god it is so great. However if you have been grinding then play with a bit higher sens as you’re use to the motion

i was in a similiar situation. Big thing that increased my consistency was Bardoz method. Before I would flick shoot, if miss i adjust. Now I flick very quick (focus hard on my crosshair until it near target) then adjust quickly then shoot. making essentially 2 movements instead of one.

That makes a lot of sense! I better understand why the bardoz method is so good now

I don't really understand this tip all too well. Can someone who does understand explain how to train or adjust to this focus?

i think most people just focus on their crosshair and try to match that to a split second of where they see the enemy(since you are so focused on crosshair you don't have a clear super idea of their position/movement). But he's saying to distribute some focus to paying more attention to the enemy's movements as most people also aren't going to be standing still. This then should help you be able to adjust better especially after your first shot and be more consistent in connecting the crosshair to their head.

Because this is articulated in the worst way possible, the best way of doing this is by just using your crosshair as a guide to confirm whether you are on a target or not. This is what “GM Kovaaks players” mean when they say this. It is just confirming being on target. This is stupidly hard to understand the way you’re saying it.
