"We know how to google search. We're big brained" literally my job as a computer scientist 4:13
@timecapsule97565 жыл бұрын
413... huh neat.
@Zzznmop4 жыл бұрын
Xavier Graham wouldn’t that qualify you as more of a google scientist than a computer scientist? Just saying, if you have to google it then you don’t know it, google does.
@albingrahn55764 жыл бұрын
@@Zzznmop that's the thing, google is a tool for a computer scientists. asking a developer not to use google is like asking a carpenter not to use a hammer. it's used so you don't have to remember everything, you only need to know what you need to google. no one is going to memorize every single error code and function, that would be impossible, so instead you can have google to extend your knowledge. the hard part is to understand the information from google and to know what to do with it, and to use you problem solving skills to come up with solutions
@Zzznmop4 жыл бұрын
Albin Grahn “asking a computer scientist to not use google is like asking a carpenter to not use a hammer” what??? No, just no! A tool is much different than a knowledge source. A hammer cannot tell you the “top 5 ways to build a home/hit a nail,” and google cannot physically strike a key on your keyboard. A better analogy is that a developer who NEEDS google when they forget how to do their job is the same as a carpenter who NEEDS their supervisor to tell them what to do when they forget.
@Zzznmop4 жыл бұрын
Reverend Green if I ask you what’s 5+5, you say 10 because you know it. If I ask for the integral of tangent x, you would (probably) need to looks this up first. You find WolframAlpha, type in the equation and solve it. Someone who knows it splits up tanx into sin/cos when recalling trigonometry, and I substitution shortly after from recalling elementary calculus. So the second person solved it by demonstrating their obtained knowledge; Meanwhile, the person who googled it and copy pasted their answer still doesn’t know the integral of tangent, but google sure does :)

The Oculus Quest is honestly the best VR headset because it's standalone and you can use the Quest Link to play PCVR games. (also, making yourself a dev and adding sideloaded apps to the Quest isn't that hard, if anyone is wondering).

You'll actually always be able to play the old content using the standalone flash player exe from adobe's website, people just won't make much new content for it because flash's main appeal was being right in your browser

Blender.org, You can animate, sculpt, model, draw, 3D and 2D, video/audio edit.... and it all has a Python backend... and it since 2.83 it support VR natively. Ohhh and totally open source and the Python API makes it way easy to make a plugin. Let Blender do the heavy lifting, if you provide the interface and Python logic, and/or C modules... you could make your dream come true!
