You made a much better UI design than Infinity Ward did in the supposedly "3 years" they had developing this mess. edit: the season 1 reloaded update came out yesterday. if you need to mute your team in-match, you gotta go through a little menu system now instead of hitting one button. they keep making things worse.

Still waiting for this “overhaul” from IW. We’ve had a few changes since release, but nothing “game changing”…. They’ve fixed a couple of broken things there’s that at least. I like the addition of searching for party players (even though that’s another ‘feature’ that we had previously.) and how you can queue to join parties, and talk to that party in their voice channel whilst you wait for them to finish their game. That’s pretty cool. But they said they’re bringing an “overhaul” and we’re yet to see anything close.

I’ve shared this video around with other COD players so many times the last couple of weeks - this video needs to be seen because it’s borderline embarrassing at this point how bad of a job IW/Activision are doing with Call of Duty at the moment. The fact the one guy (no offence! Your work here is AMAZING!) can present a better job of the UI…. Well that just says it all. They need to hire you and fire every single person that worked on this shit Hulu UI and decided to completely re-invent all the “small detail” UI features (like ones you went over this video) for whatever reason… 🤦🏻‍♂️😅

Wow, had no idea! Nope, on controller (to my understanding) you have to open the map and use the dpad to get to it. Small step, I know, but it's annoying how it's different from my muscle memory!

Im grinding Orion and when a camo challenge is complete, some text pops up with 1 line only for a second and it does not even show the 2nd line at all! So now the message is ambiguos! e.g. 20 kills while.... while what? mounted? ADS? hipfire? what!!?? Now i dont know what i have to stop doing. The fact you cannot check your weapon camo challenges or there is not a self congurable optional weapon camo tracker is silly. Would love for there to be a pop up progress bar which fades in and out showing i just got my 5th of 25 longshots, and i would not see it again until the 10th longshot was done. Gears of War 4 did this type of tracker in game and it was so clean. Also notice how you can save a custom blueprint and rename it to what you want? but if the text is too long it lets you write it all out, but it will only save the first x chars. Some really silly UI choices. Sack the entire UI dept and install harrison as head of UI

I think the compass too should be replaced with the one from mw19. Mw19s is clean, mw2's has some fade for some reason and a location of the map and some other crap, it looks disgusting. Also the font (the one which is used for the xp) is so bad and i hate it so much. Also when you load the game on console (idk for pc) the title screen just says CALL OF DUTY which also looks ass. Bro they literally can just put mw19s UI and HUD without changing anything even the font except they can change the kinda blue tint to green. Done, it will look amazing. In terms of UI and HUD Mw2 is a huge downgrade from mw19. 19 looks so clean, modern and serious, mw2 is disgusting, childish like crap

I am so dissappointed about how the UI is actually keeping my friends from truly enjoying the game. They enjoy what the game has to offer but the amount of BS that they needed to endure makes them play something else like valorant. Activision needs to pay attention to this. They are bleeding $s and they don't even know it. Great video! I was wondering what your thoughts are about MPs HUD. I loved the minimalistic HUD design of MW19. I despise this year's HUD as there is a lot going on. One example of this is the score. In MWII they introduced a lot of clutter, aside from having the score number, the boards, they also added text that tells you WINNING/LOSING whereas MW19 managed to convey which team is winning by simply making the score text of the winning team larger.

Everything about MW19’s UI and HUD was perfection to me- one thing I particularly hate about this year’s HUD is the compass bar, I dislike the opaque gradient and the location name being yellow. There’s very little color contrast and the font weight is too slim so sometimes I flat out can’t read the location I’m in unless I go inside a dark building. As a whole, definitely prefer the style of MW19 far more.

Idk why they step So low from MW19 and WZ1? This game has so many bad things, that needs so little to do to make it far more better, enjoyable then ever. I'm no professional, but I have had interest in graphic design and visual accessibility for the longest of time and I really dislike MWII's UI. I can tell they tried to innovate (And possibly match the aesthetic with Warzone Mobile's) but most of the time, the wheel doesn't need to be reinvented. Your redesigns are really good! They keep the general visual aesthetic of the original menus. I have to say that I don't straight up dislike WZ2's HUD, but I do agree that it feels like it's a massive downgrade especially over the one that the first Warzone had at the end of its cycle. I have so many problems of varying sizes with the UI/HUD and this video addressed a good fistful of them!
