I REGET GETTING BOTOX/DYSPORT in my forehead! What you need to know before getting injections.

I am having this same experience right now. I never had hooded eyes, and now that the botox has fully set in, I just think I look horrible. I’m refusing to put on makeup and I’m staying away from meeting up with friends, I cry daily. From what I’ve learned from my “bad botox” experience, this can happen due to molecule movement, injector skill/knowledge, and injection pattern, and it can be prevented by doing the eyebrow lift first and then coming back for the forehead and also being cautious in the units used in the forehead. Thankfully, I do hiit workouts daily, so I hope that will help. Not sure if I’ll ever do Botox again because this is just horrible and instead of making me feel more self confident, I feel so self conscious. FYI, you cannot have neurotoxins dissolved, time is needed for new nerve endings to develop.

Same! And this is the 2nd time I must be an idiot haha! BUT it will start to ease up and your face/eyes will go back to normal but with less wrinkles. I'm wondering if threads would help. It's a slippery slope!

@@sbg1911 If you end up getting threads, please share your experience here! I'm 6 weeks post-botox and only seeing a hardly-noticeable improvement in ptsosis, am also considering threads but can't spare the downtime at the moment. Very curious though!

Yes. Ugh. This happened one other time but this time is way worse and I hate it. I look terrible. Mean. Mad. The strain to keep my eyes open and my eyebrows keep trying to go up and it’s giving me a headache. I went to my plastic surgeon and he was way more aggressive than I’ve ever had. My understanding is there’s no such thing as dissolving dysport. It’s not a filler. It’s paralyzed the muscle and you just have to let it wear off.

I got Botox between my eyebrows last week for migraines and unfortunately now the area where by eyebrows start won’t lift up, only my arches can lift so every expression I try to make ends up making me look angry and it’s freaking me out. I’m super expressive with my face and always have been and not being able to move my face like how I always have is a little bit terrifying to me. I know it’ll wear off in a couple of months and I’ll ask my doctor to maybe not inject there in the future (there are 31 injection sites around the head for migraine treatment) but yeah it’s been really strange for me and I definitely am going to not have this happen with my next round of injections

Dysport is one of the biggest scams in the cosmetic industry. One thing I guarantee almost no injector is willing to admit is that Dysport is only approved by the FDA to treat glabellar lines. It is NOT approved for the treatment of the forehead, crowsfeet or cheeks. These injectors, are all using Dysport off-label for the forehead and it should never be used for that, for this exact reason. ".Unlike Allergan Botox, Dysport moves and migrates. That's why so many people who use Dysport have the same problem of droopy eyelids, un even smile and even droopy cheeks when they get their forehead or crowsfeet done, and this crap migrates to the muscles. Injectors will never admit that the migration and facial distortion/ muscle atrophy results from how unstable Dysport is once it's injected. The only reason injectors use Dysport instead of Botox is Dysport is a hell of a lot cheaper for them to use than real Allergan Botox. You need WAY more units of Dysport to equal one unit of Botox. So if you're someone who usually needs 20 units of Botox, don't be surprised if the injector who uses Dysport tells you, you need 50 units. Then they charge you $500.00 for crappy Dysport instead of $200 for quality botox.So not only or you getting ripped off but your face will get distorted. And in all honesty, these injectors don't even care. They will just deny it and happily put the same crap in your face four months from now. With that being said don't ever put botox in your cheeks or crowsfeet. You are weakening the muscles which will cause your face to droop.

I tried a new place for my Botox and now I’m currently going through this 😭 both brows have lowered and I have really hooded lids now. One is also lower than the other but the only way they can even things out is by lowering the higher one. So I’m just waiting things out with one semi-okay eye and one small, hooded, angry eye 😂🙃

How long did it take to go away? I'm currently going through this torment! I did forehead botox just before my bday & on the 4th day I noticed the major droop and hooded eyelids which I never had. I feel so ugly and my bday pics are ruined, it's extremely noticeable.

Dysport is horrible. Every single time without fail it made me look hideous. Dropped brows, Weird face shape, drooped eyelids... I tried a couple different injectors too - same thing. It never happened with Botox. I'm never getting dysport again.

Just got 200 units of botox in my shoulders, neck, skulp, temples, masseters, brows and forehead bc lucky me, I have tmj and even luckier, the grinding is causing my joints to break down. My neurologist did it for me. I don't want a droop so here I am😂

My lady told me to do eyebrow area and the rest at same time. One week in my eyebrow wrinkling is still there. Not the 11s or top of my forehead just above eyebrow still wrinkles

@@AgaTompkins From my understanding Botox/Dysport can’t be dissolved or reversed, only fillers can. Neuro modulators wear off over time but there is no immediate reversal agent.

Okay, the fact that they just kept letting you make appointments and inject more without waiting at least 2 weeks is a little sketchy. It takes 2-3 full weeks to get a final result from an initial injection & one should not judge their outcome until that time. Your injector seems trigger happy and pleased to just keep charging you. I like finding someone who makes me wait and use very small conservative amounts. I too have noticed how things can look uneven and not great for the first two weeks-but that’s because the product hasn’t fully taken effect. That’s just my take though. I’ve been getting Botox for 10 years and recently stopped due to the new Swiss studies shedding light on the fact that we just don’t know the long term effects of using neurotoxins like this. I don’t want to be a Guinea pig. ✌️💓

Dysport absolutely cannot be dissolved, unfortunately. You just have to wait for your body to metabolize it and it wears off. Fillers can be dissolved, but Botox/Dysport (any neurotoxins) cannot be dissolved

I've been getting Botox at done once a year for about 16 years but with the pandemic and everything it's now been way over a year and since I moved to a different state I feel like I need to find a new doctor which is half of the problem because I'm not going to trust just anyone with it. Anyway one of the years I got dysport instead but was not nearly as happy with it but it was much cheaper at that time. my doctor basically told me the difference was that my Botox would freeze it more completely where the dysport was a less hard freeze so therefore looked more natural and that's what most people wanted but then I just felt like the dysport wore off much quicker and since I was only doing it once a year anyway partly because I'm cheap and partly because I'm weird about not wanting my muscles to go into atrophy by getting Botox too often ( I don't care if they say that won't happen I'm going to make sure). Anyway I started out just wirh one tiny shot right between my two eyebrows because that's all I felt like I needed when I was 32 but now that I'm 47 I was increasing it to also above each of my eyebrows also just because I felt like it lifted them some and it also helped straighten out my eyebrows because one has always been a lot lower so they would just do a little bit more above that eye. Anyway mostly I just want to comment that I definitely think at the doctor doing it can be a huge difference I think if they go a little in the wrong spot it can definitely travel to different areas and I want to say this video reminds me I really do need to find a new doctor and make an appointment because I always felt like it opened my eyes up a little bit more for me and of course help this one wrinkle between my eyebrows it always makes me look angry. 😊🥰
