Ever since trip to Rocky Mt National Park a few weeks ago, I've never ever wanted or desired to live in Colorado but Boulder was pretty dang nice. Have to admit, it's way too cold but that's what clothes are made for. I really have been thinking of moving there since getting back. Damnit Drae! This video isn't helping me all. I've already thought out the snow problem which isn't a problem at all working from home. I could live in the mountains and still have a cool good paying job, there or anywhere in the US. Just trying to find a home for a restless soul that's used to always being on the go. Home? What that even mean? I have no clue but would like to one day. You still get my upvote good sir. I need to see stuff like this.

Lived in the mountains in Montana most of my life. Both city and rural. If you're talking in a larger mountain city, it might be worth a try to see if you like it. Make sure to invest in good snow tires, and unlearn the urge to brake first and ask questions later because ice can and will fuck up your day if you lose control. You'll take a small hit to available resources compared to some places, but it's not so bad. If you're talking rural, you're romanticizing the beauty without really realizing what the true challenges are. You say working from home eliminates the challenge there. Work isn't the only reason you need to leave the house. How far away is the nearest grocery store? Five miles? Thirty? Will you reasonably be able to get to it in a foot of snow? How about 3 feet? Is it a Walmart type chain, or an independent grocer? If the latter, keep in mind they WILL charge 3-4x what the chain would, because they take major advantage of being the only option for most folks. Are you handy? Adequate with plumbing? How about HVAC? When your water freezes and pipes break, can you fix it yourself? When your furnace goes out, can you fix that? Because it will likely be anywhere from a week to three weeks before someone can make it to you. Do you have a hospital anywhere near by? Are there any conditions in your household that could lead to tragedy if it takes hours to get medical care? Do you own a gun? Because whether it's a bear or a home invader, chances are you'll be dead long, long before the appropriate emergency services arrive. Sorry for the rant, I just see a lot of people romanticizing the rural mountain life. Based on just the small taste of examples I've given, it could literally kill someone trying to jump into it without fully realizing how self sufficient you actually need to be, so I just like to be very clear that it's not an easy life like living in a city.

My bad but really who fucking cares? I'm playing games for the first time usually and play at least 1 new game on the channel a week, of course I'm going to miss some seemingly obvious things from time to time and just by how I play naturally I don't really care. I enjoy playing casually and have never really cared about min/maxing any game I play. Like really if small mistakes bother you I'd rather you not watch me, I'm about the casual fun experience and if it's not fun to watch that then please go away lol.
