Great video, Mo. Dogmeat is one of the best companions as he eventually becomes almost indestructible but this is a very useful exploit to get him to heal even faster.

I never knew about this. It's amazing how people are able to discover things like this. This definitely would be quite useful for those like me who don't have the DLC perk that boosts your follower's health.

You should definitely get the DLC. The goty edition goes on sale frequently on steam, and if you play on xbox, it's available through the game pass.

How long should dog meat take to go to vault 101, I told him at 8am this morning to go there cuz I went to point lookout, it's now almost 12 hours later IV played maybe 5 hours and no dog meat. Is he on a raiders plate next to some mustard or something.

It's basically random. Sometimes it can be a game day, some longer. I have seen Dogmeat take up to a game week at times. They can during their travel also die so it may also be never.

It's certainly one of the more 'not nice' methods but on the reverse side it keeps Dogmeat alive too.

This only works if you You keep an eye on him, mine just got killed when he ran off to fight 2 yaio guai things, then they got me. Hate them things. Them and death claws.

Yes that's right. You have to be pretty much on him at all times. It's the downside to this. But this does get easier the higher your level.

Then a new one should spawn outside of Vault 101 almost instantly. If not then that means Dogmeat is still alive buy stuck somewhere.

Even without the perk this is still useful if you need extra damage. And don't feel like using healers.

That's a very good question, I'm not entirely sure. This was actually new to me and I will have to try it out for myself and see. I suspect that it probably will but can not say for sure.

It's certainly not a good look to do especially if you recruit Dogmeat. And so sometimes I do go on playthroughs without recruiting anyone and playing solo.
