I got to admit. I think sometimes the issue is. That us oblivious Americans who have never sent or purchase something for overseas have never dealt with the addition vat tax. Happened to me once. Had no idea. Felt bad. I wasn’t trying to be a ass I just had no idea or how to add it to my purchase. It helped though when I just started purchase thing like say from amazon, I switch to uk amazon for purchases I need to send over there. Now I know to read and see what tax are included and stuff like that. I would say if your sending something yourself. Defiantly talk to your local post office and make sure you have everything you need and the correct postage, stamps, and whatever else you need to get it to the place it’s going.
