I REGRET SELLING THIS | 2006 Cadillac Escalade

Here is a quick little video over my 2006 Cadillac Escalade. I owned this for about a year and sadly sold it not too long ago. I truly regret selling it, as I am in need of an SUV/Truck again, but I can always get another one in the future (and I probably will lol)

We would all own a 2002 - 2006 Cadillac escalade if it wasn't for crippling gas prices. Hopefully the new owners treasure the Truck as much as you did.

Yea that’s the reason my mom sold her 2004 Escalade cause of gas prices she sold it in 2018 she knew 3 years before the gas started to go up 😞

i just bought mines a month ago its a 2002 6.0V8 AWD, and i love it!! the previous owner had it for 10 yrs as his daily, some old rich white guy. I'm glad i bought it from such an owner like that lets me know he really took great care and time to making it serve him for that long. Now i have the Raines to this beast.

I have had my black 06 escalade for about 3 years and I love it. I had an 07 Yukon and traded it for the 06 escalade. I have about 144k on mine and it's still like new. This first gen is built so well.

I believe this one is/was 2WD since you said it had the 5.3. I think they put the 6.0 in all the AWD models.

I love my 04 esv platinum. Just hit 175k as a second owner. But being in Chicago that salt and snow are up are up the rear lower panels as you mentioned

just sold my 06 Escalade 133,453 I owned it for 9 years parked it every winter no snow it was born in Texas and raised in Florida then I moved to Michigan 2016 were like I said it was parked winters mint black Raven 6.0 litres I'm gonna miss it for sure never no issues because oil change always Mobil 1 full senthetic radiator flush every 3 yrs it was a beast.👍🙂

Nice charger. I got a chrysler 300 srt8. I also own a black 04 escalade the same I got from a buddy for 300$ drive it almost every day. Only my interior is the charcoal gray. Wish I had the tan in it. I'm gonna change it up. Gorgeous escalade you once had.

Currently looking for one of these. Far better than the garbage GM has been making the last 15 years or so. I think it looks better too. They seem really reliable as long as you don’t abuse them and take decent care of them.

Bad move bad move , all you have to do is cut the bottoms and restore. The wood on the doors is the real deal. This are icon vehicles. Classic truck will go up in price soon.

White diamond color code are the most expensive especially the platinum edition and 2002-2003. Depends on the miles and how many owners and how much work it needs. Kept in a garage and low millage and no wear will run up the bill especially the white pearl. How many owners etc. I would not sell mine for 20,000 because it has only one owner and everything is in almost perfect condition and 2002 which is the first one made in that generation. now in year 2023, is 21 years of age going on 22 years. Close to being 25 years old becoming a classic. 2002 model 6.0 vortec has everything different from interior nothing matches not The seats not the dash not The stereo or cd player nor the infotainment system the center console is different, even the moonroof slightly different and The sun visors different also dim or bright slide. Hard to find one like mine and having it looking like it came out of the dealership yesterday ready for an auto show type deal. No nicks or scratches. Even the speakers do not match with anything after 2002. So yeah depends which one. The price could be low for the more used ones. And the price gos high for the well kept ones or restored ones.

The tahoe z71 / yukon denali and escalade.. top dogs in that era.. had 3 denalis but always end up selling cause of gas and rocker rust… but regret it later

The hub centers on the wheels should be CHROME not brushed stainless. They have the srong centers kn the wheels.

If anyone has an idea are these cars reliable compared to lexus. I have a lexus gx now for almost two years and I am very happy with it due to its reliability. I want to save some money and trade it with a 2006 escalade but I am afraid of the bad reputation of reliability and I am afraid I will regret it because my car virtually costed very little maintenance and parts in the two years I owned it. If someone who experienced these escalades can advise would be appreciated

Truly , my favorite looking ones are the 2007-2014s. If I can, I’d love to get a 2014 platinum edition in black for my next one, but they are still pricey. Wouldn’t mind getting another second generation escalate though!

Nah G we couldn’t afford to bring it, we moved and we were only allowed to bring one car. I owned this Escalade more than a year ago lol since then I have moved. And my charger was 4.5k and my Audi was 3k… lol
