Not her fault. She left the country with the full knowledge of her dad, family and friends. She didn't run away or do things behind anyone's back. The guy had been visiting the family and the dad gave his blessings. She handled the matter well by being cool and making sure she comes back home safely.

Do you think she caused this on herself? Do you think the local culture is to be blamed for believing that a white man or white woman is a big catch? Does it foster a belief that white is good, white is rich, white is better? If this is true, what the hell are the lessons learned from slavery and colonization? Do not tell me that these things were long ago. She nearly became a slave. Look at what is happening to black people in Europe, Latin America and the United States. The vestiges of colonialism are still alive in Africa. Look around you, do you see how white people are treated in Africa?
@shedirstar9633 жыл бұрын
@@gladstonefuller953 Because of her trust and love she doesn't hesitate to go to the country where the family of the one she love is. But there, she learned the whole truth that she wasn't accepted by the family of her beloved they tortured instead. Black or white have different temperament. We all have our own decisions and wants in life. For me, the big catch is having a kind partner. Accept your status in life. She or He doesn't look your appearance.. He or She loves you unconditionally..never leave each other for better or for worst.

This is a story of a kind. Thank God you made it alive back home. Please, please ladies, if you in such a situation like the one she landed in the hospital, it is time to let someone know you are in danger. There are social workers who can put you in safe waters. Even if your husband is trying to stand on the way so that you dont spill the beans, request to go to the bathroom or a therapy room. That way they can talk to you freely without anybody on your face. Most nurses are trained to detect abuse, and they will provide a translator while in the hospital.

What people don't realise is that its not about the man being white. From her family background story, it seems she would have made the same mistake even if the man was Kenyan. People are forgetting she was only 19 and straight from high school, and, .left the country with the full knowledge and blessings of her dad and family and friends. This is not something she was doing behind the scenes like a slay queen. She left officially with the full knowledge and blessings of the dad, family and friends. At this rate, I am also starting to think we are part of the Commonwealth of Nations and part of the 'British Empire.' I am thinking if I find myself in trouble a country which has no Kenyan Embassy, then what I would do is run to another embassy that's part of the commonwealth - where people are likely to speak English, esp. a country thats nearest to East Africa. A Sub-Saharan country. Someone might just listen to you and call the Kenyan Embassy nearest to you to deal with your case.
