I have to make my friend watch this. She left her husband 2 days ago for beating her and smashing her head against the wall. It's not the first time it has happened, she always goes back but this time she vowed not to and I think this story will strengthen her decision. This woman is strong. I went through emotional abuse in the hands of my Pastor and his wife for close to six years. 12 years later, I still have PTSD and have hardly moved on psychologically, especially to trust people. I don't know for how long this woman went through physical, emotional, sexual etc abuse. Abuse in any form is a very serious issue.Nobody should take it lightly. Please, if you are going through any form of abuse, move yourself out of the situation. Don't stay in the situation because the longer you stay, the more damage is caused

To Janes's son who is scared of colonoscopy, It is not something to be scared of. Here in America as soon as you hit 50 you do it. I did it :).. Nothing to it. Save yourself. To the daughter who is hurt from this please get counseling. Your mom did the best she could with what she had to work with. She most probably did not show you a lot of what was happening because she was protecting you. Believing it or not, you would have not been what you are if not for her...good or bad. @@mcenroemusyoki we don't have to suffer domestic abuse from sick narcissistic men, we don't have to disfigure our bodies in the name of love just to know our purpose. Societal standards have made it hard for women in the name of perseverance in marriage. Marriage will either catapult you to your God given purpose (when we allow God to align us with our Godly spouses through prayer and patience) or turn your life into hell on earth. We can avoid some pain in life when we always involve God in everything. Love isn't supposed to hurt. God was totally out of this lady's marriage, so we can't say He took her through all these..,after we go through such pain, that's when we start seeking God. And because he's merciful, he takes us back and wipes away our tears. Then begin to re-align our lives according to His purpose when we fully submit to Him..we normally think He took us through the pain to teach us a lesson, but really its our fault that we acted in ignorance in the first place. If only we can always obey Him, then we wouldn't go through certain unnecessary pain.
