Thanks for following up with this project. I understand why you had to stop working on it, but I also really like how far you went with it at the same time. I know the project is over but since you asked for more feedback anyway: I think the last piece to really finish the game off is create unique biome background artwork for each level. I think making stage art for each notable era of the dinosaurs would tie the whole project together and make the boss fights more impactful.

I have many suggestions: -Add an archaeopteryx pack boss in which they glide towards you and you have to duck -Make more biomes and put one two or three bosses into each one (forest -> t rex // volcano -> pterodactyl // jungle -> compys and archaeopteryx... Etc) -Make bosses last longer -Spinosaur boss in swamp, mamooth in mountain -Dimorphodon boost

I played it and i have three more things, two of tjem are bugs: -Make things occur randomly, its all programmed -Pterodactyl's shadow isnt accurate because the lower part of the beak is broken -Water's hitbox at the end of the water biome makes the player sink in the sand if it touches a little bit the shore Thank you

Boss ideas for more popular dinos: Stegosaurus - throws rocks at player Brachiosaurus- slams neck down and you have to duck to dodge it (duck is disabled before and after the slam so you can't just hold it) Pacycephlosaurus (idk how to spell it)- charge,charge back faster and jump

Ooh, I do have a suggestion! I remember, in some versions of the game, that some small pterodactyls would fly towards you, and I think you had to duck from them. Maybe adding back those, making some fly lower so you need to jump, and pairing them with the platforms, we could get some nifty challenges there! Also, biome transitions would be cool, like a thick jungle, a cold glacier, a volcanic cavern or wasteland... but I always like biome chanes better when they come with their own obstacles and aren't just a background swap. So, this one is up to you really.

I played it and im top 7 for now, and i have many suggestions -Make boss fights and terain randomized so not every run will be the same -Give bosses a little varation. For example, let the tail-sweeper do a full tail whip then 2, or make it random how many tailsweeps it will be, pterodactil can follow you for some time and attack you in random moment (it could have been preceded by a twinkle in his eyes) -Make a longer, more platformy water area, Not every single water are have to got a crocodile fight -as long as game progresses make fight harder, like the third croco attack, another attaack from tail-whiper etc. -make eartquakes more random, lke single ones during section (its always a 3-jump section for now) - a new dino which would shoot spikes (sometimes you would have to jump over it, sometimes ben down)

you could have some some random hadrosaur or sauropod be some kind of barrier you have to duck to avoid. you could also have a stampede event, where you have to parkour on the backs of a stampede of triceratops, and if you fall between them, you get trampled.

There would be power UPS ) meat : meat will make the player walk double fast and not take dmg for 5 seconds ) triceratops horn : using this İtem will make the player Spawn the triceratops boss This boss would be longer than the normal bosses his atack patern would be a fast dash for ward but hes so big that u cant jump over him so u will have to jump on the rocks first then on top of him every time u go un top of him you will deal 1 dmg the boss has 3 health defeating the boos will reward you with the triceratops skin witch is a cosmetic

I think making the new crocodile-dino create a wave you'd have to jump over improve clarity. It is a little weird landing on it's spiked back. Also, if not that, then maybe a tsunami event that could occur while on those water platforms. Also, adding occasional piranhas over long stretches of water, which could act like cactuses (marked by a swarm of them jumping out of the water). Excited to see where this goes!

Has a lot of audio buzzing when I replay the game, holding up after jumping (and until you hit the ground) causes a lot of issues, like platform clipping, and lastly the jumping is innacurate. Would be good if platforms wheren't as common, and all of those isssues where fixxed. The game isn't heavy on my pc for the first run, just like the original, mostly though!

I have a Idea where a carnatoraus mini boss wiil chase you for a few seconds and bite you when you are close. But it wont instantly kill you instead it will bite you slightly propelling you forward into the air and disable your jump button for a second. But the carnatoraus will leave the second it bites you and it is very rare to encounter.

2 suggestions:you could add power ups which,like evolves the dino(to another dino with new abilities) or something (e.g a pachy which can ram in obstacles or a dimorphodon which lets you glide to small distences etc...) when you get damage you lose the power up like in the mario games , other suggestion:you could add differend ways to go into different biomes like in "banana kong 2"

U also should add another MAP called prehistoric ocean as like CHAPTER 2 if you reach 10000 score or something. You can either choose to stay in the desert or as i like to call it. The wasteland. Or. Go to chapter 2 thats has new bosses. New everything! Your dinosaur/player would be wearing a scuba diving costume as it traverses the bottom of the depths! The enemies/bosses youll encounter is. Megalodon: first boss and appears at 500 score. It would be like the pterandon where it lunges at the player and you have to jump at the right time to miss it. But. It would do it a second time before finally leaving you be. Next boss would be. Dunkleosteus: second boss and it appears at 1500 its move would be charging up its bite and than snapping at the player! The player would have to duck to avoid these attacks. (Yes this idea includes letting the player duck) Third boss is. Helicorprion: appears at 3000 the helicorprion woulb be like the liopleurodon! Using its saw jaws to turn and fastly towards you! You will have to jump to avoid these attacks. Oh and also the things youll have to jump over is going to be coral and rocks. (A substitute for the cactus) Than. Youll make it to chapter 3 at 15000 score. If you want me to continue my rant that will be ignored get this to at least 1 like 👇

@@devratgames also I tried Alpine odyssey.. it is very good. and I believe still has promise. here a list of ideas you can refine and make a v2. - Sense of progression - change background colors, maybe add weather effects.. etc. .to give users the idea of progression and a need to keep discovering - those trees are too bare.. graphically improve them and add variety - Controls are good.. but they can stll be finetuned for more enjoyable mobile game play -- improve the UI.. - Customisable skins.. - collectibles.. maybe a star for temporal invicibility, or extra life.. etc.
