If you remember, Ambode was clearly told to decamp and face impeachment or keep quiet and knowing that he wasn't a Saint and something could be brought against him ( Obasa as speaker was in the plot) he remained in Apc. The same method can easily be used against Obasa which will force him never to decamp to another party.
