Lesson 1 from now on... back up all footage after each flight as while losing the drone is a hard pill to swallow, having the footage would take a little of the sting away. You hope you never lose them but as they say, _plan for the worst, hope for the best._ Other then that, the footage you showed was amazing. Cheers.

That was so well edited. I'm a professional video editor and a 30 minute version of that could be easily played on major streaming and TV networks. Great job Hannah! Also a lesson to everyone watching - offload your footage regularly! Losing your drone/camera is one thing, but losing the footage at the same time is sometimes even worse and can be easily avoided :)

Ah thank you so much! The video could’ve been much longer but I cut a huge chunk for viewer retention haha. And yes we definitely learned our lesson this trip! Gonna make sure to offload footage often on longer trips like this!

The latest visit was when I climbed Mount Fuji. Anyway, It's so nice to see such a cool video! Have fun and be safe from Covid-19 everyone!
@lakayvideos3 жыл бұрын
I have been to the places you guys stopped over, except for the Ryugu Sea Cave! That looks really impressive rock formations and worthy to be explored. I wonder how many drones are lost around Shizuoka. I also lost a drone while filming around a waterfall, GPS signal was cut off and the props was tangled with a vine nearby. It fell on the river which is not accessible just after a typhoon, went back a week later and the river was knee-deep and I found the drone at the bottom stucked in between rocks. The drone is now a paperweight but I was really surprised that the footages are still intact. Everything is readable and SD card is still ok after a week at the bottom of a river. I enjoyed your roadtrip, keep safe!
The music is so different from your other videos but it fits the vibe perfectly! Instead of the serene, more calm music that's played when showcasing cultural landmarks this just has a chill but upbeat summer vibe which I'm sure is what you're going for. Idk what I'm trying to say I just like the switch-up but I've also always loved your previous stuff so....yeah.

Press F for the brave drone, may it turn up at the nearest koban and find its way back to you guys somehow. Shizuoka is so underrated as a foreign tourist destination right? Almost to the same levels of under-appreciation as Shikoku. Can't wait to be able to travel again and spend at least a week in both places. Great job here Hannah!

😂😂😂 Fingers crossed it finds its way back! And yes Shizuoka is SO underrated which is surprising since it’s so close to Tokyo! I wanna go already!
@marcusa31773 жыл бұрын
@@CurrentlyHannah I guess it's because of people min-maxing the JR Pass (not that that's a bad thing) and that there's no decent pass connecting Shizuoka to either Osaka, Nagoya, or Tokyo ie relegating Shizuoka (and Nagoya to an extent) to the shinkansen equivalent of a flyover state. What *is* the most cost-effective way of visiting Shizuoka from Tokyo or Nagoya, right? There's no easy answer for this unlike say, Osaka to Hiroshima (JR Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass, hands down)
