Fun! I rented a studio in the basement of a large corp building and basically it was like a 40 square meter concrete box. I used it for a place to paint large pieces with no distractions, drink "juice" and listen to music at like 2am. Good times.

Don't scrape the art from the window, it's kinda charming. :) I'd love to get a similar place myself because without all the wireless interference you can get some amazing reception for a radio enthusiast... I think your ideas are great and I'd love to see an update video when it's all done. I'm curious what are the ports between the power outlets under the lamp decor - phone line maybe? :)

I'm sure that was a landline at some point, but not even the outlets work anymore in that particular spot, guess the power to it was cut off.
