I have not been painting that long, however, I have watched a lot of your videos. One of the reasons I enjoy you is because I felt like I was watching an artist discover watercolor. It’s amazing to watch you grow and gives me hope that with time and practice I will begin to grow and improve too. Thanks for sharing so much with us.

Spooky 😳. I like the texture of the skin on the first one. Beautiful values on #2. He looks a little sad which is true to the story I believe.

Thank you so much Louise 😊🙏🏼 I'm happy to hear the sadness is visible, that's the vibe I got from the reference too!

Looks so easy to do but it’s not that easy. That’s what real professionals do: make art look easy when it is not actually. Watercolor is such a technical art. You really rock Liron. By the way I’ve bought The Nita Engle’s book you recommended and you were right it really worths the purchase thank you for the advice 👍👍👍
@LironYan4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Natacha 😊🙏🏼 It can look misleadingly easy indeed. The more you practice the technique the more things start to click and you can use the paint in so many interesting ways. So happy you found Nita's book helpful too ^_^

Wow, a big improvement on the original although I kind of liked it for what it was. As you say you had a good handle on getting the values right, but much better flow on this one with a variety of edges and lovely feeling of warm and cool. As always brilliant at keeping the sense of light, which I always seem to ruin! I do keep trying though and I think I’m improving slowly!
@LironYan4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much Alison 😊🙏🏼 I also love the first one for what it is ^_^ But I'm happy to hear the improvement in flow and smoothness is noticeable. Keep it up! It will definitely improve with time. And don't be afraid to use the full range of values - from the lightest to darkest (:
