I know SEM products and, I agree, they are excellent. What about the aerosol base and clear coats? What brands did you use and how did you find a paint match?

For sure the SEM is the best I have used out of trim aerosol cans. It has the OEM look and not too shiny like some others I tried before. I had a Dupli Color Perfect March clear coat aerosol can in the garage so I just used that for the clear. For the actual Le Mans blue paint I got a pre filled spray from a local paint store.

@@golfandcats it's all good buddy, good to see e36s e39s, e90s, I have worked on them all for years, still think the E39 is one of the best. Aluminium rear end 👍, not many left but know them well. Anyway keep up the excellent work 😉
