It sounds terrific, it's simple and idiot proof, and I also have to give you credit for making the end user experience of buying, installing, and activating incredibly painless and lightning fast. I already have a few BSA plugins, and I'm sure it won't be the last one I get. Keep up the great work.

As others have suggested, please add a clipper to this and allow us to bypass each module of the plugin. That would make this absolutely perfect for Drum buss processing.

I totally agree, BUT Jordan already has a plugin called 'BSA Clipper', which could be used after BSA Drum Bus.
@calebjacobi91974 ай бұрын
@@musicbySTIX True, but that means they already have the algorithm. If it’s supposed to be a one-stop shop, they should just add it to the end.
@musicbySTIX4 ай бұрын
@@calebjacobi9197As it's labeled as a "one-stop-shop" I do agree. But, the clipper algorithm they have is the selling point for another plugin. If they add the same algorithm/functionality to Drum Bus, it devalues Clipper. 😬

Just an idea for a way to streamline things even more: Maybe make the space between the Standard & Slammed switch positions to be a mix slider. When having the slider all the way left, the controls are for the drum bus. With the slider all the way right, the controls are for the drum crush bus. When the slider is somewhere in between, the controls become inoperable but you can balance your drum and crush busses, thus only having to use 1 bus to get your blended sound. Nice plugin, by the way!

Oh man…. I was so looking forward to trying this out. Installed it a couple of hours ago and…. Oh well, everyone is entitled to produce one dud yeah? I LOVE the BSA plug ins - I use them on so many things (the clipper is a joy). But this just wrecked my drum sound - the kick went from tight and defined to a muddy thud, and amount of tweaking would change it. But that’s not the worst. The thing is barely useable - despite the CPU meter not getting over 50%, this made all the controls really sluggish and unresponsive. It was seconds between trying to turn something and it actually happening. And the drum bus fader level just stuck solid. I assumed that was because it was somehow limiting the hell out of it - but no. I’m assuming this has been optimised for M chip macs? I’m on the last Intel Mac mini. Performs perfectly with tons of stuff running. This is the first plug I’ve installed in three years that has caused this to happen. I think until there’s a v1.1 this is staying off the agenda for me, which makes me sad 😢

Someone else mentioned having a mix slider between Standard and Slammed mode so that you can blend in the crush bus and have everything in one plugin instead of two. The only potential problem I can see with this, is that the "Slammed" setting is meant to have less cymbals sent to the bus in its intended use scenario. Maybe there's a way for the Slammed setting to "ignore" the cymbals using some of their algorithms from their Silencer plugin to reduce cymbal bleed, that way you can mix the crush bus in without hearing the cymbals being too hyped. Also, perhaps you could incorporate a clipper into the Output section of the plugin. Awesome plugin, can't wait to try it, and would love to see these ideas incorporated in an update!
