It’s so fun to see new players. Especially when they claim to be haters, but end up having a good time. Yeah no one really likes the grind, but a large portion of regular players are playing casually. Later on past Adventure Rank 45, you may want to actually min/max your characters, but till then it’s easy enough with a more laid back approach. I do hope you continue playing, even if it’s at your own pace and not for content (though Genshin content sells like hotcakes around here ngl)

But early game, you don’t need anyone over lvl40, which is easy enough to obtain without having their specific areas unlocked. And if you co-op with a veteran player, you wont have that issue. Rosaria is an awesome ice applicator! If you want to use dehya, the 5 star fire girl, then you can use rosaria as well to apply melt elemental reaction, which will help dehya deal more damage. Also, you can make a team out of candace, dendro (plant) main character, and lisa to form a low budget hyperbloom team. Hyperbloom is really overpowered, hope any of this helps!

Just a tip. When you get a water character, go to sumeru which is left of liyue and get the grass powers for the mc. You do that by opening the statue of the seven with the mc and click resonate with dendro. You’ll be able to unlock the best low investment team for early game which is hyperbloom. It needs lightning, water and grass but it’s very powerful and all you need is elemental mastery. Good luck with your journey

I remember how challenging the mountain was, and I wasn't at a low level, being playing since day 1, but I also didn't have a strong pyro user, and was saving my primos for upcoming Ayaka, so it was hard and I was happy with it. The freezing bar was a good adition to exploration, it felt like a real adventure. Also the second time I felt amazed with Genshin after seeing all Liyue from up Wuwang Hill, was when I discovered Watatsumi the first time, and the last one was entering Sumeru the first time, what an amazing region.

When I started Genshin I didn't really comprehend how upgrading weapons worked so I literally used 5 star weapons to upgrade my equipped 3 star weapons (got them from wish and quests / events over time). The snow region, don't get me started about that - took me a good few video tutorials to understand how to find the waypoint, and I didn't know how to defeat the Fatui for ages (elemental combinations/weaknesses for each enemy). Over time though the game got really fun and enjoyable, was the first gacha open world I thoroughly enjoyed. And then I got older, realized the cringe of Paimon and the plot and the game went. But I always loved the music + exploration, definitely never disappointed.

This is too funny. I literally did the same exact mistakes when I started, some even worse I think. I left the game for a time and went back last year. The game has progressed so much, and I just found myself in love with it. The lore is sick, and now as I look back, every tiny detail in whatever, can be a floor, a character's clothing design, a name, they all have meanings and connections to the lore. It blows my mind how the developers can cook something like this. Genshin music is lit as well. I hope to see a part 3 and reaction videos perhaps. Always fun to have new genshin players. I love seeing newer players trying to beat Dragonspine to get to Liyue meanwhile when I played I just walked around Liyue to get to the Harbor. When I did explore Dragonspine at around AR 30, I was lucky enough to have a friend that was a Yanfei main. ♡

Honestly, as a long-time player, the dragonspine quest (the ice mountain) was and still is my least favorite. I was lucky enough to have friends help me through it and I still struggled hard. I kinda wish that dragonspine was in Inazuma instead of Mondstat so the quest isnt quite as hard for new players lol

Really cool vid! Noelle, that girl with the wonky looking maid outfit, is a pretty good shielder imo so in case you wanna use her just give her equipment with defense stats, those will make her skills more effective. She'll also often heal your party members when she hits enemies while her shield is up, which is pretty useful.

Honestly all respects to you for actually trying out the game yourself, and yea I'll admit the genshin community does ruin a lot of things at times, but still props to you for making another part. In all honesty, the start of the game really is a slog, and after so many updates I'm not sure why they didn't adjust the progression of things better at the start compared to the later parts, where you could be bombarded with the upcoming main quests. Thanks for the content big bossman, really enjoyed the vids.

I like to see these kinds of different perspectives on games, lmao. Don't really see a reason why ppl would hate you for playing "incorrectly" since you clearly aren't gonna play for as long and as dedicated as they did. But I love the fact that you still experienced the (unofficial) Dragonspine teachings like many players including me did. Chloe is a Chad too. Also, I think it'd be fair to say that you experienced like 1/7 of the game that was made like 3 years ago that def doesn't reflect the full scope of the game right now. But to experience it all first hand, you'd have to play for like half a year if you play casually, which is a lot for anyone. Still glad you enjoyed the part you've played so far
