I’m rewatching avatar, and I remember you said you couldn’t find the color of blasting jelly in your stream. Well it’s apparently yellow, you can see it’s color in book 1 chapter 10 of the last air bender. It’s the episode where jet was first introduced.

What was the difference between animation and final product? Like were the effects procedural and rendering in Blender or did you go into After Effects? Like I notice Ang's face in the final is colored in completely while animation it clips. How did you go about fixing that kind of thing? I bought your animation course but since you didn't use effects in that one, this is somewhat new.

The animation pane in just the base character animation, while the final pane is fully composited. They put together the character animation, effects animation, full background (set and lighting), and pretty much just polished the whole thing. You can kind of see in places like 1:52 in the animation pane where they threw in placeholder text to show where some really complex bending would later be added. You can also see “placeholder props” like low poly rocks instead of what’s shown in the final render. It speeds up the process so everybody has stuff to work with while things are still in the works, sort of how like how guests each bring something small to a potluck and it somehow turns into a feast when the table is set.
