I used to be so into Glossier. I've tried many of their new releases and lost interest by the time Play was released. I did get the serum as a gift and will rebuy when I decide to try the concealer one of the few things I've tried. My biggest disappointment were the lidstars.

I will say, I am someone who uses a lot of the Ordinary products and there's a big learning curve with the skincare! They have a chart of what order to apply products which is extremely helpful but it isn't a "quick" skincare brand if you are using more than 2 products. I do swear by their squalene oil, sunscreen, under-eye serum, hair density serum, and foundations (but they are light in coverage and don't build without getting cakey), products I have tried and hated were the cleanser (it was so small for such little pay off), their vitamin C serum (my skin just reacted poorly to it, it was gritty and burned), the facial lotion (i find the drugstore has better option for the same cost). They are definitely a brand I love and use daily but not every product is a winner, but what brand is like that?

Claire H. Hi! I think it helps with slight redness but it won’t conceal it completely. When I have marks I definitely have to put concealer under it to hide it. I notice overall my skin looks so much more even and healthy.

I love glossier. I even have the sweatshirt like you do, so people are surprised when I am very vocal that the skincare is awful!! It’s just... I don’t know...not formulated correctly? The solution ruined my skin. With the solutions, actives aren’t list with their pH, are lower on the list, and you have no idea the percentages - all no no when it comes to actives. It’s through this I also realized my face can’t do niacinamide, Le sigh. So thank you for an honest review. It’s refreshing to see someone’s being so objective about the brand. So many stans that come for you even if you say one bad thing about the brand, so, I appreciate the honesty. My only grip with the video? Retinol is just not trendy. retinoic acid, retinaldehyde, ect have been extensively studied for acne and anti aging and have good data to support the claims. Some of the vegan retinols and new derivatives maybe trendy and don’t have great studies backing them. But my point, after a certain age, like 30 people should try and incorporate some type of retinol! It’s not trendy, it’s well studied. Trendy is the wrong word. I hope you don’t give up on retinol. Please try again with retinol. I hope you find a product that works for you.

I completely agree! This company is nothing more than a marketing company. I have a few of their products but their quality or consistency was never there. They may say that their sheer quality is for the “natural, already perfect skinned” demographic but hey- as a company that has such a big following, shouldn’t you cater to a larger audience than just the picture perfect individual? Their inconsistent formulations by itself is what makes me disappointed in the company. They can definitely do better esp when the products are like less than an oz for some. 😳

My understanding of Glossier makeup, it seems to be made for women who want to wear a little makeup and not look like they are wearing a mask. I am one of those women and I find that the older I get, the less makeup I need to use. I wear regular foundation but put so little of it on my face, I like my freckles to show through and I don't need to cover every little thing on my face. I would buy Glossier but I can't afford it. I have to save my money! I need the skin tint, lip paints, brow pencil, the powder and pencil liner. Thank for going through the makeup so I can save up for them!

I have vowed to buy no other everyday lipstick other than Gen G! Just like the cloud paints, with the 6 colors there are really endless combinations to make! While it starts out a little dry, once I've started using it with Balm Dot Com, it's perfect! And the only lipstick that doesnt go all over my face (ugh, getting older stinks)! Exfoliating acids need to be phased in. Purging is also normal!! Would recommend starting with using it once a week and increasing frequency very gradually. Same for retinols

I absolutely LOVE the glossier haloscope! It's my favourite cream highlight period, sooo flattering on my skin and doesn't enhance texture. It just looks healthy and sheeny. Its never felt dry or sticky when applying and I just think it works wonders on my dry skin!

You need to build up a tolerance to retinol for it to work but it is such an amazing ingredient! One of the only truly proven anti-agers. Building up to using it extremely slowly (literally like a teeny tiny amount once/week, then twice, etc.) can help get through the tight/dry feelings while still getting the benefits 😍.

I tried a bunch of glossier stuff for the first time recently and I was not as impressed as I was hoping I’d be with some of the things. The Boy Brow was just meh. I like my cheap Covergirl clear mascara that I’ve been using in my brows for 15 years much better. I have dry skin in the winter and the future dew made me feel gross and dirty, and the priming moisturizer gave me super red cheeks that took a couple weeks to calm down. I did really like the brow flick and the cloud paint a lot and I will continue to use those. I also loved the color slide eye pencil. I’ve never liked or used eye pencils before but this one is goes on really smoothly and the colors are great. I think I’ll stay away from the skincare because I don’t do well with fragrance in skincare but I might try some other makeup stuff.

lily miles i have oily combo skin as well, and i really enjoy the concealer and skin tint, they work so well together and cover up anything!! i also love the bubble wrap, it does help with my skin, being soft and helps with wrinkles. hope this helps!!

Here’s how to wear future dew with oily skin. 1. Use less than a full pump on the entire face. 2.Avoid the t-zone. 3. Mix it with your cream blush or highlighter 4. Mix it with your foundation. I love this product and I’m a dehydrated oil slick. It dries down on me and I don’t feel like after like 2 minutes. I don’t tend to use powder everywhere too. It doesn’t make me oilier tbh. It kind of just helps keep my skin balanced.

Such an honest review!!! Somehow every youtube review I've found was incredibly positive (most of them were Glossier reps). They all had dry skin. I have oily/combo skin and I get acne pretty quickly. Thanks for the warning about the retinol and haloscope. I hate sticky highlighter.

My most favourite thing from glossier is the zit stick! The moment I applied it on a pimple during my evening skin care routine it would be gone the next day. It was a miracle in a tube for me. Fyi though I dont suffer from severe acne but around my period time i will get like 3-4 huge pimples and this zit stick would obliverate it lol. I have also always really loved benzoyl peroxide other acne ingredients do not work fot me. Im just upset because glossier is so hard to get in Australia.

I agree with everything but when you said the milky jelly cleanser smelled like rose I was so confused it just smells like silicone to me also glossier solution really helped my skin the first few times I used it my skin was super irritated at first and after I continued it’s almost like it made my skin no longer sensitive! with "Solution", your skin has to build up a tolerance to some of the stronger chemical exfoliants (you should start using it once a week, slowly move up to twice a week, etc. until you build up the tolerance and can use it everyday), and some of them will make acne worse temporarily before dramatically improving it. that being said, if its burning your skin too much past the point of mild to moderate irritation its best to stay away. also you MUST wear sunscreen with chemical exfoliants cause the risk for sun damage is increased a lot. (got this information from Hyram's channel)

I started to love the jelly cleanser but after about 2 weeks my skin started burning every time I washed my face with it. At first I thought it was the priming moisturizer and that my skin was just sensitized, so I stopped everything and I introduced the jelly cleanser back in after a month break. It still burns. Idk why! To bad because I really loved the results before my skin started burning 😐

Thank you so much for this, Ingrid!!! I was running low on my milky jelly and i just realized that they reformulated it and replaced 1/4 of its water content with rose water which I'm very sensitive to!!! 😭😭😭😭 now I have to find a different face wash :( it was my absolute fave!

I like the You perfume, it's like a mild sweet scent similar to Chloe original. I'm surprised you find it powdery! I own the Peony and Suede which I remember you love(d?) and it's def a lot more powdery
