Walking through Amsterdam's Vondelpark, at first I didn't know what to make of this unusual garbage can - which appears to have a built-in beverage caddy. But then, it dawned on me: This ingenious trashcan solves multiple problems at once. The Netherlands has a new-ish deposit system for bottles and cans: €0.15 is added to the cost when you buy a drink, which you can reclaim later by returning the vessel. This system, in place in many European countries (and US states), is designed to reduce waste and encourage recycling. The problem is, not everyone is willing to carry around an empty bottle until they reach a deposit-reclaim point. It seems wasteful to trash these, and doubly so when you're essentially throwing real cash into the garbage along with it. These "donation rings" (doneerringen) make it much easier for people in need to gather these unwanted items and collect the deposit. You don't have to carry around an unwanted bottle; the bottle is more likely to actually get recycled; and someone who could really use the money gets to pocket it. These days, societies struggle for a win. In Amsterdam, this simple invention has created a win-win-win. To me, this simple sight illustrates how, in a highly functioning society, a good idea, smartly executed, can creatively chip away at problems...both small and big. #amsterdam😅The Dutch, famed for their pragmatic problem-solving, are at it again. I have this wheel and I can agree with most of this review. It's a great wheel and I know i made the right choice. I think the price to watt hours is on par or better than most other wheels on the market. A $4000.00 wheel with 3600wh weighing less than 100lbs isn't bad imo.

Had this wheel for the last 3 months now. In my 30mi long city on a hill with trails everywhere throughout, it's the perfect wheel. Ex30 power and range, with the durability in the shocks and build (panels) to handle the gnarliest of trails. And with the 50s I'm flying up long steep hills to get home, at 35-40mph with 30% batt, safety margin (eucworld) never dips below 30%. $4k does seem steep, but you can get one shipped for $3300 (to your door) if you look around.

The price is in line with the other wheels, because of the bigger battery. But the price of wheels like the EX30 and V13 have dropped significantly. I am only interested in the Commander Mini. Because the price of that wheel is very competitive, I think it is the cheapest of the 16inch performing wheels. I sold my Extreme Bull X-men HT. Because of three reasons: no suspension, low pedals, small battery. The Commander Mini solved all these things. But I already have the Patton.
@BL10009 ай бұрын
How do you like the Paton? I have a V11 and want to upgrade. I was thinking about getting a Paton. I just ride in NYC. Range is not an issue. Would you recommend the Paton? Or should I get something else?
@BunnyslippersEUC9 ай бұрын
@BL1000 I recommend the Commander Mini, because of the price. I think it is sometimes 400euro/dollar cheaper than the Patton. The Begode Extreme is in between. The V14 is the most expensive AND I do NOT recommend. The Patton isn't perfect. I loctide all the bolts. I took out the batteries and stick on doublesided tape, to prevent the batteries from sliding. The suspension on the Commander Mini is a lot stiffer than the Patton. This could be a problem for lighter casual riders.

Hello! I'm not interested in off-road adventures. I'm looking for an electric unicycle that is ideal for city commuting, leisurely rides, and navigating paved and slightly uneven roads. I'm also interested in a lightweight option. I'm wondering if suspension is important for getting off curbs and descending 3-5 step stairs. I liked the inMotion V12 HT model in terms of torque and range, but since I haven't had prior experience, I'm undecided. In your opinion, for the usage I described, would the suspension-less V12 HT be more practical or the suspension-equipped V11? Thank you!

I have difficulty understanding the Extreme Bull purpose. Begode could make better use of this department by bringing a better consumer experience for us ALL, by closing this chapter. When you have the likes of Leaperkim and Inmotion, who are not willing to cut corners for profit, Extreme Bull seems more of a joke than a sustainable company. And to add insult to injury, they are audacious enough to give us the FINGER w/ a 4 k price tag! WELL, I say enough is ENOUGH
