You can run through your horusdy set with your caliper and measure each one. You can measure the box also. Recycle the bad ones and make a set of random wrenches to give to someone who needs a car set 😄 Also, no body minds a few dings on your used tekton wrenches, if they choose them. You spend enough. You don't have to buy them a new set.

Jeff this was a great series you did a great job on putting this together. I think you chose some good sets of wrenches. There were a few sets that surprised me. A couple of sets were better than what I thought they were and there were a few sets that was not as good as I thought they would be. I think you did a good job on the recap video. In my opinion I think your rankings were pretty good. Some lucky person is going to end up with a nice set of wrenches. Happy birthday Jeff. This was a very good series. The shape and offset of the box end on the Craftman V series and Facom is similar to Plomb and all the other early brands they had, e.g, Penens, P&C, Challenger, Fleet and Proto. Now they're all owned by SB&D. I have the ICON wrenches and they will leave their mark, my choice would probably be the Capri set because of the sizes included and them not having anti slip teeth. Gotta have options.

The biggest downer of the capri stuff is that they require proof of purchase to honor their warranty. Great stuff though. I have a couple of their ratchets, couple few of their 3/8 drive impact sockets, and a set of their rounded bolt wrenches (don’t remember what they are called).
@jefftovani55357 ай бұрын

@Donniedangerously7 ай бұрын
I’m ride or die with Capri. They are local to me here in So Cal so that may color my view. If you buy your tools new and keep the order number their warranty is easy. A couple pictures to email and you’ll get a replacement with a paid postage return bag for the broken tool in two to three business days. They don’t always ask for A return of the old product so it probably depends on the type of tool being warrantied.

Great series! I enjoyed the suspense of #1 😊. I have a full set of SAE Wright wrenches. I love the fit and never noticed the flawed chrome but now I see it. They got me out of a jam with an aircraft fastener which was rounding with other wrenches and you could only use an open end wrench. Good stuff!!!

Jeff, fabulous video my friend. I have seen every video of yours since the beginning and this one is a top 5. Don’t worry about the subscriber or two lost over the Wright comments. You were honest and I agree that chrome is unacceptable. However, the rest of the wrench chrome looks really good and like you said, chrome don’t make it go. It’s comes down to how it feels in YOUR hand and how well they fit fasteners. Great job!

@Jeff's Garage adventures Hello again, Jeff Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I really don't need, metric tools. As a Aircraft Mechanic I use SAE tools. But to answer your question. I would pick either Tekton, Genius or Wright Tools. I am enjoying watching the video. Again thank you 😆

Thanks for the honest review. I got the full set of Wrightgrip 2.0’s over a year and a half ago, and after waiting 6 months for them to be shipped, because they claimed they couldn’t source the steel they used to forge them, a lot of the beams were bent on the larger wrenches. I put them in my press and straightened them. Not impressed with their quality control but they are quite nice to use.
