Glad your back! game is great ive been playing like crazy since they added squad battles 343 added some halo 3 maps. Season 4 has been slappin considering the season basically started 3 weeks ago and they essentially had dropped 6 maps over the period of this new season. its a legit complete 180 since day 1 of this game.

Funny how all my friends got back into infinite last week and i got back into it this week. Then here you are posting a video that you’re back on Infinite. Havent played since season 1 and tbh im loving it rn. Feels like a breath of fresh air after all these copy cat arcade style modern military shooters. The biggest problem is 343 took way too damn long and just like you said, a lot of people have moved on. I hope they keep pumping content and do something that will get people back into the game.

Halo Infinite is in a great spot right now. It took awhile, but the last couple of seasons have been great and new content is consistently added now. Next season will have firefight added and AI enemies in forge, supposedly.

First time checking out one of your vids and enjoyed the content so cheers! Ive been playing Halo Infinite since launch, I laboured through the early days, havent put it down as such but am really enjoying where they are taking it, progression systems are a nice (and overdue) feature, the addition of new game modes, mixing up the player count per game with the introduction of Squad Battles and Halo 3 maps which is a nice touch as I am an ex Halo 3 player. All and all, for me it's a great game, non committal which is perfect for a casual gamer like me, has the ranked for all the competitors out there, forge for the creators, lots of skins and customisation, also, a huge fan of the vehicle mechanics, for me its a solid game and has held my attention since launch Will keep an eye out for you in the servers!| Subscribed as well and looking forward to more videos Peace

Long time Sony pony here. Infinite was my first time playing halo, starting with season 4 and I can’t lie, this is some of the most fun I’ve had on a shooter IN A WHILE. No sweaty skillbased matchmaking, no daunting barrier of entry. Just party game modes and unadulterated FUN. Reminded me of Resistance back on ps3. Been so long since I’ve felt that way playing a shooter, I’d forgotten what gaming was all about, fun.

I came back to Infinite at the tail end of season 3 and have been playing since then. With the new game modes and some classic Halo maps making a return, I'm pretty happy with the state of the game.

I definitely come back to it here and there and have never not had a fun time with it but you've pretty much hit the nail on the head that this direction they went with screwed them over and the lack of content in the beginning was annoying, but man every time I come back its just so much fun. This just shows that the game itself is fun but the lack of content and microtransactions for literally everything was red flags from the start.

Definitely worth looking into "The finals", a game by old battlefield devs, or "xdefiant", by old cod devs if you're frustrated with current shooters. Those are the upcoming shooters with the most potential right now. I think bungie is doing one too, called marathon, but it's an extraction shooter. Then there's splitgate 2, but nothing is known about it yet.

I'm glad that you can admit that halo infinite was a good game. I have to agree. My only complaint when i first played it was them not including single player co-op. I do agree with you on maps and game selections. I think these companies do too much to try to stretch the lifespan of these games and it ends up back firing. Just put out everything that should be there and add stuff that you didn't think of later

Playing OW2 with my duo has been the main stay. When i'm not playing with my duo I just play Halo. Halo Infinite until I'm on the brink of an aneurysm, than swap to MCC which is pure bliss. MCC is the best multiplayer game for me and it's just no contest.

I relate to this 100%. Every other shooter is trash/not for me so I just pivot back to Halo everytime. I've been playing Infinite semi-consistently since the Winter Update and its been slowly getting better overtime. I've had my pin on Season 6 being the comeback season with Tatanka around the corner, but we'll just have to see.

Biggest turn off for me at launch was that basic features like filtering what game mode you want was not available and how there were very limited game modes to choose from. Halo infinite in its current state is what it should have been at launch.

Maybe you’re just getting old? Idk how old you are, but HEAR ME OUT-I got really into online MP towards the end of the PS2/XBOX generation (and was also hugely into Halo at its peak) then that leapfrogged into the 360/PS3 generation. By about halfway through the PS4/XB1 generation, I was in my late 20s/early 30s and suddenly just kinda felt like I had had ENOUGH. Like I hit the maximum prestige possible in terms of my time, patience, and attention span towards them and felt like I had experienced enough “online shooter MP” for one lifetime and I’ve been pretty much done with it since. I still will DIP INTO IT HERE AND THERE but I feel like that consists of maybe 1% of my gaming diet now.

Glad to see this games multiplayer is making a comeback. I loved Infinite's campaign. Even revisited it last year when they added mission select & some new achievements. Thought the multiplayer was lacking but Halo's gameplay has always been my favorite FPS shooter gameplay & Infinites is the best version of it imo. I know everyone turned on the game from all the praise it got at launch to ppl now saying its horrible & thats on 343 but the games core foundation has always been great despite the haters & its nice to see they continue to build on it & make it better. I agree it should be that way at launch like the old days but the game industry just is what it is now unfortunately. Everythings got to be a live service ehh. Now if I could just get that campaign DLC that looked like was coming i'd be happy but at this point it's not looking so good for it lol.

Halo Infinite was and still is the best arena FPS on the market. This is not even meant as praise to Halo Infinite but rather as an indictment of every other game. This game has been fine to me since they added more maps and actually brought back Slayer, Swat etc. I don't need a thousand modes and it's probably better if they keep the modes limited until the population increases.

I picked up 2042 on steam for $20 and it's been my go to for the past few months, but yeah, mostly shooters are terrible right now. I think if you stick to the main Battlefield modes like conquest and rush, it's a lot of fun.

That trash behind azz game. The maps are trash. They all look and feel the same. It's too chaotic(and not in the good way). There is little to no cover for infantry. The sound is terrible. Its buggy and laggy. Maaaaaaaaan, I thought people were overexaggerating about how bad the game is until I played it for myself. I'm already about to delete it.

@Supre3m3Kai All of those were issues at launch, they've fixed almost all of those problems. Each map has been reworked with more cover, the sound is totally fine for me and feels like old battlefield, I have barely any bugs when I play.

I think a large reason Halo Infine failed is on MS. They clearly desperately want Netflix for Gaming to be their ethos, and if possible will always push for that. MS is the reason HI was a "10 year online plan" in my opinion, and on top of that they had to not only make the game for two consoles, one of them may as well be the gamecube considering how trash its power level is.. which again is MS forcing their studios to make games for both consoles, more importantly also designing for them. My opinion is HI is probably more ambitious if it didn't need to deal with that.
