I really wish/hope that Byking and Bandai are just waiting for the anime to be done to make a OJ3 as the final game and complete the trilogy of this specific series. I’m sure they’ll make other games. But at least, they’ll complete the trilogy with the remaining characters from seasons 5-7 (maybe 8 being the final).

I’m sure they are. The couple of new characters we got in Ultra Rumble are probably a hint at the next game. Kinda similar to what Sweep the Board is doing with Demon Slayer

i love this game it hurts everytime people talk about it like it's jump force or that one punch man arena fighter because this game was so fun everyone was so fun and unique and despite the story mode being pretty meh the arcade mode is so fun even if it's just a few lines it's just fun seeing the characters interact especially when they didn't interact much in the show.

I actually LOVE this game the animations are good and the characters are fun, as well as the rock-paper-scissors mechanic of normal attack - counter attack (yellow) - unblockable (red) i like the costumes in the game but mostly I like team ultimates when it has some special animations (my favorite is Bakugo + Kirishima + Denki)

I remember grinding on this game for years and being so happy when a new character came out. We may have had some bad patches (looking at all the new character releases either having an Infinite or crazy move) but it was still a fun game nonetheless. Byking really dropped the ball on this by not only failing to meet expectations for My hero ultra rumble but also not making a third installment of this game

Personally OJ2 is already one of my favourite fighting games becuase of how unique every character is and how creative the movesets are, I would love for them to continue expanding the roster either as DLC or for a third game. Like we have all the teachers (Vlad, Snipe, Cementos, the dog one, hell knowing how creative the team behind OJ2 is in my opinion they could even make principal Nezu work) We have all the characters from the movies and ONAs such as Mr Smiley and those thugs from the two heroes movie (not mentioning the main villain as I feel they would be similar to overhaul) We have the rest of Class 1A and 1B. We have a the liberation army people like Doofenshmirtz, I mean Redestro. We could have a new Twice, Dabi, Toga, Bakugo, Kyoka, All for One, Tokoyami and more variants like we have 3 Dekus since they all have developed their quirks a lot. There is genuinely so many characters they could make for this amazing game, if they wanted to they could make the next game a super smash bros ultimate level game with everyone. Tsuyu Asui has an invisibility move in the game so they could even make movesets for someone like Toru Hagakure, the team behind the game is just great if you ask me and I really hope the game sees some sort of revival as it has so much potential, like they could continue expanding the roster and eventually have close to 100 playable characters, making it a monumental achievement for a fighting game like this. Some might say that is too much but I think we how unique every character is, I would say it is very capable of pulling it off as they make fun movesets. (On a side note, my personal favourite to play is Mr Compress, even though he is considered amongst the weaker ones, I love how satisfying combos are with them)

@niceboifeast8838 All might and one for All are the only 2 characters that play similar to one another, but every other character, even the multiple Dekus and shegis, play extremely different from one another. You are basically learning a new character from the ground up. OJ2 has one of the best fighting game rosters out of any arena fighter it comes close to traditional fighting games in terms of the roster.
