What a creative solution to a sticky problem. Also that tip about pinning fabric either side of where you are going to cut to avoid it pulling was so helpful. The finished result really enhanced the original dress too - looks so good.

Loved the video! I have actually done this recently to a dress but went all the way to the sleeve because the bust was too tight. I'm only 4'11 and I was able to use the same fabric by shortening the length of the dress as it was way too long. I love it that you take us along for your sewing journey!!! Can't wait for the next one.
