I’ve ridin it a few times and I’ve never seen sway back in forth like that.. it sure was windy! I was anxious to see the MiniVan and the process. Wow!! More expensive then imagined but super cool. I have to share...a great friend of mine was quite afraid of heights. What did he do for a living - airline pilot! He also flew fighters in the USAF. As for myself, as I get older, not crazy about heights, but I fly planes myself, and it's no problem. So a few years back, my wife and I went to the Sears Tower observation deck and she wanted to go out on the Ledge; that box that's all glass where you're "outside" the confines of the building. I was not going to wuss out as we were dating at the time, but I was not thrilled one bit. I sucked it up and went out there, but that's when a bunch of undisciplined little demon spawned crumb-crunchers decided to join me and began jumping up and down on the glass! Let's just say the little buggers learned some new words that day! So well done on that Skyride...small steps as it were, and well done on this great video!

Thanks so much for sharing your transportation video, and conquering your fear of heights for the day by riding the Skyliner twice! I am also afraid of heights and never liked sky lifts that are not contained. I freaked out in 1993 when I went to Hershey Park with friends and rode the sky lift there. I thought for sure I would fall out and the lift would fall off when it bumped around the towers. When we lived in Utah in the 2000's I went on so many lifts to go hiking that I finally got used to them. But, I still freak out when I have to sit in a nosebleed section of a venue. I am sure I will fall all the way to the bottom! I even have nightmares about that! Cris, do you remember the little motorboats we used to be able to rent at the Polynesian Village and run all over the lagoon, even over by The Contemporary? My son and I used to rent them in the late 90's and had fun jumping the wake of the ferryboats and racing each other.

Great video! I love this! As a transit enthusiast, I love that Disney has a whole intermodal system. It's awesome that you can use it, and get on property without park tickets. And for those who don't or can't drive, there are several Lynx (Central Florida's public transit agency) routes that go to Disney Springs, and the TTC. Also! Fun fact 🤓the Disney Transport bus fleet is mostly buses made by Gillig. Lynx's fleet also uses primarily Gillig buses as well! 🚌

You go girl! You rode the skyliner and conquered your fear! Proud of you. My daughter and I love riding the skyliner, but I fully understand about the fear of heights. I saw when yall went to Ruby falls and down underground. My daughter and I tried to do that a few years ago, and that fear of claustrophobia hit me and I couldn't do it. So she paired up with another woman and went on through it and I went back to the top and waited for her. We have utilized all transportation as well when we resort hop. Never paid for a Minnie van at this point though. I see you love Earl of Sandwich also. We also love it as well.

Oh boy, the Minnie Van.... yeah it would be hard for me to recommend that to anyone. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience but it's really just for people who want to feel fancy haha! At the yacht club I would of take the bus to Magic Kingdom, then the ferry back to ttc, then loop around epcot using the monorail. Then the Tram, then the bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge, Then the bus to Animal Kingdom, and then to Disney Springs. A pain but 34.00 cheaper😅

The skyliner isn't toooo... bad. It's helpful that it is a VERY short ride. Any longer and I would have start panicking but it was ok. I hope you try it out sometime! :)

I road the old skyway. I'm not sure you would appreciate them any better. They were opened. We too experienced all transportation down there except the new skyway and Minnie van. Some great info on how to get around the property. Best boat ride is the boat ride from Port Orleans down to Disney Springs. It's so relaxing. Next time you and Tampa Jay go to the Springs check it out. I'm not sure if you need proof now to get on but it's worth a shot.

Aw thank you so much!! There are a few smaller boats on property, there's a bunch at MK that take you to the Grand Floridian, Poly, Wilderness Lodge, & the campground. There are also boats in other places that I didn't take that day, I just took the one to count it as my small boat ride. Someday Ill do all of the boats in one day, that would be pretty fun too! It is DVC Chris there are lots of ways to stay there easiest way is to rent points from a member lots of places offer this and even talk to Adam he is an owner at Riviera he may be able to set you and Jay up for a night there. If you want to stay at Beach Club let us know. We can arrange a room there for you with our DVC points. We also have a video of a 1 bedroom villa and the pool and grounds on our channel. As for the AP look at the Florida resident Pixie Pass it is super affordable and gives you Mon to Fri but there are blackout dates. What is your fav sandwich at Earl of Sandwich?

The skyliner could be your best friend... depends on where you are staying in the hotel, but hopefully it will be a short walk to get there. you can take the skyliner to both EPCOT & the studios! It really is a great feature!

That cast member is WRONG. The Riviera is NOT part of the Caribbean resort. Perhaps same management team, but they are not actually the same. IN the days when I worked at Caribbean resort, we had the same upper management team with Pop Century. Unless they changed things again. LOL
