@ My only concern is I might find the S1000xr boring compared to the MT-10. A lot of reviews have said its too refined, clinical and souless. I like the looks though and I'm sure it will be a lot more comfortable than my bike. It was along Makati Ave/Buendia a few weeks ago.

Inline 4 acceleration usually are more linear hence why you don't feel the oomph only after you exceed certain RPM range then you'll feel the burst of power, hence why they are nickname screamer and is best utilise on the tracks with ample path. If want the oomph feel most likely need to stick to inline 2 or 3.

Ive driven multiple inline4s, including the versys1000. I assume its the tuning of the XR itself making the rpm climb smooth. The riding mode was in dynamic pro too
