I put ethanol free into my kei truck. The pumps I go to for that have separate nozzles for the ethanol free gas.

@@pinkelafant - There are no ethanol free gas stations near me. I was concerned about ethanol in my Hijet mini truck but have since learned that Japan does have ethanol in their gasoline, although less than the 10% that we typically have in the US. That allayed most of my fears about ethanol dissolving fuel lines in my 27 year old kei truck. I park my motorcycle over the winter with a full fuel tank. An empty tank has a large mass of air that expands and contracts with daily temperature fluctuations. That pumps moist air into the tank where the water condenses. With so little fuel, there is much less ethanol to keep the water in suspension so liquid water would pool and cause rust. When finished with my two stroke chain saw, I let it idle to use all of the fuel to avoid having it evaporate and oxidize and form a gummy varnish when I don't use the chainsaw for a few years. Mostly, I now use my 120 VAC electric chainsaw.

@@1anre true but for 1k most scooter that can fit in your car also can go over 15mph. They simply bent in half. If it was around 600 maybe but 1k Honda is just taxing off the motocompo hype I honestly think it’s more worth it to get the one I have for 4x the price. The motocompo is street legal, can go 30mph, gas and is only appreciating

@Waybeforethefame hmm, the noise and having to deal with gas, oil etc won't make it as easy to carry to many more places than this new Compacto. 15mph might not seem much, but you can charge it up in 3.5hrs when it's flat and Carty it in a much more compact fashion than the bulky 100 pounds compo

You should really address the rusting tank. Its not the worst ive seen but these bikes dont have fuel filters and eventually rust will damage the engine. You wont be getting 6500 if it doesnt run. Look it up, that tank can still be saved and you can do it yourself for fsirly cheap. You could also have a fabricator build a new tank using the old one for measurements. Id imagine used tanks for these bikes are extremely rare and more expensive then having a new one built.
