A missed opportunity to use When We’re Human on this attraction. They needed something with a little bounce for guests to sing and clap their hands to just like Splash had with How Do You Do. When We’re Human could have been an instrumental so we can hear them trumpets 🎺 blaring and alternative lyrics so that animatronics can sing backup with Louis singing lead. Just a thought.

Splash Mountain was bright because the story took place during the day. I really like this ride! It's a relaxing and atmospheric journey down the bayou with a few thrills and great music! I bet the set looks a lot better in person. The animatronics are also super cute and top-notch!

Matt- I recently discovered the Gootoyou KZbin channel. You and Goo are so enjoyable to follow. You are both extremely pleasant in your commentaries and honest in your reviews even if you differ in opinion. I especially love when you ask your brother to do something and he says “No” and follows with his specific reason. I’ve been starting at your main channel and playing a mix of your videos. The non Disney trips are fascinating also. I enjoyed your trips to the Amish Village in Sarasota. You are both very adventurous trying so many different foods at the many restaurants you visit. And the Camping in a Tent and Searching for Bigfoot videos at Fort Wilderness were great. I could go on and on about your videos. I have so many more to watch and “like”. Some might come to the conclusion that it's a fail but did it really have a chance in the minds of the critics. Memories are huge parts of who we are. Seeing them disappear is difficult but change is a part of life. Tiana's isn't my cup of tea but I don't hate it because it's not my childhood experience. I'm sure little kids will enjoy it if not tainted by adult bias.

It's not surprising. Splash Mountain was infamous for breaking down constantly and so many of it's animatronics and set pieces just stop working. People don't want to accept this fact, but it was really showing it's age near the end. And not in a good way, I might add.

I think it finally hit me. Not seeing the giant thorn bush on the drop really solidified that Splash Mountain is really gone and never coming back. My heart is broken. I love Princess and the Frog so much. And Disney needed to build a ride for the movie over a decade ago when it came out. I just wish they had made a new ride altogether. Because the movie and character deserved it. Not this taped together mess of a bland storyline. Splash Mountain was a big part of my childhood. As it was for so many others. Dont get me wrong, im very against the movie and its racism. But the animated storyline in the movie is what we all loved. Idk im so torn about it all. 😖
