The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is an action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It is the fifth main installment in The Elder Scrolls series, following The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006), and was released worldwide for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 on November 11, 2011.
The game is set 200 years after the events of Oblivion and takes place in Skyrim, the northernmost province of Tamriel, a continent on the planet Nirn. Its main story focuses on the player's character, the Dragonborn, on their quest to defeat Alduin the World-Eater, a dragon who is prophesied to destroy the world. Over the course of the game, the player completes quests and develops the character by improving skills. The game continues the open world tradition of its predecessors by allowing the player to travel anywhere in the game world at any time, and to ignore or postpone the main storyline indefinitely.
Skyrim was developed using the Creation Engine, which was rebuilt specifically for the game. The team opted for a unique and more diverse open world than Oblivion's Imperial Province of Cyrodiil, which game director and executive producer Todd Howard considered less interesting by comparison. Upon release, the game received critical acclaim, with praise for its character advancement, world design, visuals, and dual-wielding combat, and it is considered to be one of the greatest video games ever made. Criticism targeted the melee combat, dragon battles, and numerous technical issues present at launch. The game shipped over seven million units within the first week of its release and has sold over 60 million units as of June 2023.

YT did a change to their recommendations a while back to add these less viewed videos to the recommended feed more often. One of their better changes when its not just showing you little kids overreacting to basic kills/gameplay.

I just started a survival playthrough of skyrim, basically starting from nothing and going through the game working my way up to becoming the dragonborn. Very fun, very immersive. Im loving it.

I really like this style of video, it is very different from the other "I played Skyrim as X" but it would be better for the mood if you weren't addressing the audience in the opening naration. Perhaps make the hero be talking to his diary or something. Also the opening naration could be shorter.

Oh yeah, I’ve wondered about these things. The problem is that Bethesda didn’t. All the cities are sooo small and each have only a single blacksmith each with the exception of Whiterun. They’re hardly even villages.

@@theUltimateLord Oh I’m sure there are too, in fact I think I’ve seen a few. Though in my opinion it’s something that should have been there from the beginning. Even Cyberpunk managed a believably big modern city. Hell, some of the neighborhoods in that game are bigger than all of Whiterun lol. Granted Cyberpunk has its own problems.

The other day, I had to restart my Skyrim due to a stupid glitch mid-to-late game where I tried to get my in-game spouse Mjoll the Lioness to follow me for a task, but the stupid game claimed I “already had someone with me” knowing I didn’t. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I like this idea alot but perhaps a bit less of the all knowing narator style and more of an in character resction and inner dialogue. Also all meny interaction should be cut out so we don't see it. I recomend watching rycon roleplays if you're looking for an example of how to do it. Hope you make more i will subscribe and turn on notifications in the hopes you continue making and improve your content👍🏻
