Yes, we have definitely ruined more than a few pieces. I have never seen hoop burn before. Appreciate you sharing why it happened and how you fixed it. Very few go out of their way to educate us like you do. Much appreciated.

"Hoop Burn" I have never heard of that one. Messing up can be costly, but it's also how you learn. Keep Grinding!

We just today got some returns from a customer because of Hoop burns. I thought they looked like they would come out with water, so I sprayed the area and they are still drying, but I think the marks are coming out. It was our 8x13 Mighty Hoop. All across top.

I usually give myself 1 do over, but I had to remake an appointment book cover 5 times! Just couldn't get it wide enough, cut one too small (looked at wrong measurements on the ruler), stitched a section down I wasn't supposed to, couldn't get it to lay flat. Finally! I got everything right and it looks and functions like the original.
@adubbproductions2 ай бұрын
That is a good example of perseverance. Once you get the settings once, write them down so next time you get that order the hard part is done. Great example thank you. What printer did you print out the cover with?
@ricogonzales29892 ай бұрын
Dang, haven't had hoop burn but thank you for this I'm definitely gonna order that bigger size. Appreciate your honesty. I've had plenty of "oopsies". Happens to the best of us

Oh yeah, i've messed up orders before. Its apart of the business. Only thing to do is own up to it. Explain to the customer that an issues had happend. etc etc. and how youre going to fix it. 99% of the time theyll be understanding. They just like to know whats going on.
