Would I be crazy if I said the graphics in this arcade game are still powerful? Man...

Dunno what year they put the arcade in sports bars and all but there is still plenty of them around a real testimont to durability. Wow racing streamline perfect.

This is one of those perennial games of the 90's that defined the quality of the arcade you were in. The roar of the engines next to Virtua Fighter, Primal Rage, Street Fighter II & X Men, turds like Time Killers & Revolution X, the musty smell of the arcade, pinball machine noise, the thrill of feeding bills into the token machines and loading your pockets with them...you pwn this game better than ANYONE I ever saw play it. Respeck.

Dude, thank you for this video. I have the PS3 port and I've managed to beat every course flawlessly with the only exception of the Expert Course, thanks to this video, I might actually be able to complete that turn.

Damn, I know Daytona USA was ahead of it's time with the graphics, but I didn't remember them being THIS good! Anyway, you god some mad skillz, partner. I could never survive the Expert track even with an Automatic transmission; that should tell that I suck.

Hey, thanks a lot for your annotations (it's lucky I had them on). They were exactly what I was looking for and needed. All my life I've failed at this game. I knew you needed to switch to gears somewhat but not to lift off the accelerator. Seems like that's why I always spun out.

Good job on playing expert. I can only do a few of the hard turns on this one.
@charlessmith2638 жыл бұрын
I think I played this Daytona 500 game at "expert" level 4 to 5 times. The track course for that is as difficult as the most difficult track course in Atari's Pole Position. I stayed away from using Manual transmission--just stuck to Automatic because I want to be very stable in the two of its toughest turns. I failed 68-83 percent of the time in the hairpin curve turn part of the course when I had to slow down--and waste valuable seconds of time in the process, and sadly, I never got 1st place doing it. It is a good race car arcade game.

In Daytona USA Deluxe In Sea-Side Street Galaxy is Easy With My Cars:Hornet,Gallop,Oriole,Max,Daytona And Wolf
it would be awesome if NASCAR raced in a street circuit
@Noonecanknow8799 жыл бұрын
It would, though it would probably be a disaster if they don't choose the right city. It would need to have long streets and some fast corners. Like Watkins Glen has.

@Noonecanknow8799 жыл бұрын
Steventhe2nd Long Beach would probably work. It would also be perfect, seeing as how IndyCar, Tudor United, and Formula E race there, and F1 used to race there.

Sestern mate, how are you getting your KZbin username to appear in that blue highlighted box in the comments here? I can find literally no information about how to do this anywhere on the internet... Edit: NVM, one week later and it's doing it on my channel as well now, must've been a change that KZbin decided to not roll out to all channels at the same time.
@plutterton8 жыл бұрын
Uhhhhhh, that's because it's so obvious to EVERYBODY ELSE that no explanation was ever needed. Only the OP gets their name highlighted. So if you want to see your name highlighted post a video. Then comment on it, I guess.

+PropellerBusted Oh my God! How could I have not noticed that myself?!? I feel so stupid now, except... Maybe you should 'Uhhhhhh' check your facts before deciding to leave a comment in the style of a CAPITAL LETTER abusing sarcastic douche. This isn't the standard way an uploader's name appears on one of their own videos.

if you want to get good at this game, drive inside the car, not third person. and you are skidding thru turns that you don't need to....and why the hell would you go from 4th to first then third to drift. all you need to do is keep it floored, go from 4th to 3rd, lightly tap the brake quickly as you flick the wheel in the direction of the turn, then reverse steer thru the turn, flooring it the whole time. and just for reference, a 'good' time is in the 3:08 range.....
@SestrenNK11 жыл бұрын
You seem to have an issue with people playing the game outside the car, if your page is any indication. Let's not be an ass about it. I'll drive and enjoy the game however I please and my times have improved significantly since this early run. It was really designed as a "starter" video as it was.
@elohssalaer1211 жыл бұрын
***** no, it was called trying to help others. I wasn't trying to 'tell you what position' to drive in, you can drive in any position you want, I was trying to suggest how to drive to be competitive. just because I looked at a couple other peoples vids and commented the same thing doesn't mean any issue, it just means I tried to help several people. have fun.....
@elohssalaer1211 жыл бұрын
Rick Fetting and what kind of settings are you running? even after spinning out on first lap you still get a 1:47? seems quite impossible on normal settings.
@SestrenNK11 жыл бұрын
Rick Fetting Repeatedly referring to people who play in third person as "children" and "little kids" is hardly what I'd consider a "helpful" attitude. You can get your point across without resorting to that sort of thing, plus your first comment came off as condescending without provocation. Anyway, the settings are unchanged, though the controller I used forced me to use the gas and brake on the same analog stick. I was surprised myself.
@elohssalaer1211 жыл бұрын
where did I say that to you? and why does me telling the truth bother you? adults with years of real driving experience use that experience by looking out thru a windshield, like in real life. little kids playing video games or driving an rc car see cars from the outside. I didn't call anybody 'children' or little kids', I said driving in third person is what little kids do. and you make it sound like 'repeatedly' was a bunch of times to each person. wtf. so I looked at 3 or 4 vids and commented. big deal! and when you get older, you will realize 'negative reinforcement' is so much more effective than mollycoddling somebody.

1,3,4 gear r actually slow though...i play 2,3,4 and 2,4 :)...before the last corner i play 2,4...the last corner i play 2,3,4...much much faster :)
@AGKaiju8 жыл бұрын
Definitely, although the 1,3,4 sequence offer a quicker speed bleed. For corners like these, it's ideal. Don't get me wrong, I usually use the 2,3,4 sequence almost all the time, especially when it came to the Advance course.
@Androzofficial7 жыл бұрын
i 3,1,3,4
@AGKaiju7 жыл бұрын
BadyasOfficial You mean you use 3, 1, 3, 4? Useful for a small bleed of speed... Come to think of it, the Marubaku group used something similar.
