Box box would love to know your thoughts on the champion rng.....i roll for 4 costs on 8 and 5 cost on 9 but literally dont get what i want...then again when i dont need the champ i get it on lv 6 or 7 y is it like this

It's a game based on RNG, you play according to the hands you were dealt with and plan around the RNG nature of the game. Not every game will go as planned so you gotta adapt and make the best out of your situation. Sometimes you just get unlucky and not hit but other times you may hit an insane board. That's TFT.

Because getting 5 cost champ you want is 1/7, whereas getting the 5 cost champ you dont want is 6/7.

I think if you copy boxbox's playstyle that will happen a ton. I'm not critisizing him, it's just a different playstyle, but rarely playing for winstreaks, generally disliking reroll comps, and usually prioritizing econ over HP are all parts of boxbox's playstyle that make him more RNG dependant than what is already intended in the game.

Do you think that it is ever viable to take a bad charm, because you need the extra shop slot for the units you're rerolling? It's obviously a very rare case, and a very small gold save, 0.4 gold per charm shop, but if you have like a round where you're rolling 50-60 gold and let's say you spend 20 of that champions and you skip all your charms until the last one, then that charm cost 2 extra gold. Yeah, breaking it down like this I don't think that is ever worth with how valuable many charms are.

I feel like every rng based feature in this set is working against the player. Not just rolls, but even %50 coin flips don’t feel like %50. I don’t think I can be that unlucky mathematically, I’m really sure that they did something with the Bad Luck Protection feature that caused the ryze bug in the old days so now we have to either roll 150 gold for hwei 3 or get 7 hweis as we level up from auto rolls. It’s so unbalanced that this has been my least favorite, even most hated set of all time.
