To add to my comment on your previous video, that's exactly the point, I've lost myself in Society and its rules. I want to break free so that I can go and find the person I am again. My brother passed away on the 18th of December after working his entire life fucking up his body and health, for what????? He was only 53, and I refuse to go down that road too.

For me ( 63)I have no plan in life, I do not see myself as a set character or need to perform according to others, I am what I am and that is simply sufficient for me. I do what I do when I do it and feel no need to explain myself or reasons for anything. Of course that is easy for me because I am single, always have been and have never really needed gratification from others who seem to struggle with the basics. You are what you are and that is sufficient. Those who like me keep in touch and those who dislike me never contact. That is great, Good luck. There is no such idea as balance, as it is subjective and requires one thing or another, the perception versus the perspective. Life is literally what YOU decide it is without precondition or over thinking it. It really does set you free, and never EVER start thinking about how people perceive you, it simply is not your business to influence other people. You always find your place and kind of people without even thinking about it. It's called natural order of things. You fail as a person when you think about everything except yourself and focus on others, That is where we all go wrong, people like you for who you are or not. Again, that is not your business. You simply concentrate on what YOU need to do to live YOUR life, not someone else's.

Success is the joy that you feel. True joy is not dependent on external circumstances. Joy is not something you obtain, it’s something you uncover and remember within yourself. It’s who you really are.

Currently working a 9am-6pm shift, sometimes hour or 2 longer. A lot of mornings I drag my arse oit bed 5am n worknon my own SCC business 2-3 hours before my day job, then after often work on it an hour or 2, cook, eat, clean n hopefully sleep. Live by self 5-6 days a week.....it's bollocks. My hobbies n interests n exercise has become almost non existant but I gotta dig myself out of this "9-5" slavery I fucking dispose the 'lifestyle' n now its doubly hard cus trying to grow own business too. I literally feel I don't have a life at all, just the 1 or 2 days see my partner on weekends. Ive dropped 90% carbohydrates cus it helps me lose flab easier n reduces brain fog so can focus n have more energy.

Well said mate. Good video. No edits. Just real talk! I watched your previous video about being trapped by society. Totally relate to it. On that video you say about going all in and on this you say not to be too extreme. I’ve been on that pendulum as you described. All in or nothing. I cant do the balance as it doesn’t feel right. I do understand what you’re saying though about losing personality through highly structured routines. My opinion is if you went extreme results you have to take extreme action! I’d love to find some sort of balance to the process but the trap of society allows no time for that. I feel like I have to use every single minute of my day wisely or else something suffers because I have to work full time! I don’t want a Xmas or a birthday give me a day off from sticking to my diet because as soon as I give myself one excuse, that rolls on and on and on to any old excuses such as ‘ well spurs are playing tonight, so I’ll eat rubbish tonight!’ But anyway, love your opinions and the real talk. I’ve subscribed!

Good video Implementing a lifestyle plan which is so unbending is never going to be a good idea long-term It’s unsustainable and exhausting and cuts you off from almost everyone However, to achieve really extreme results, the sort most people can only dream of, such an approach is necessary You’ve got to take your pick All the best

I've lost touch somehow. Moved away from Bristol and had a family. I'm happy to have my boy, but it's a struggle to remain yourself at your core... it's a work in progress and I'm hoping to regain my spark Finally I'm sorry about your mum... I'm also in the public sector....Poole is very nice no? I loved living in the south West P.s. I've given up on drink and junk food. Small changes are important You are so right about losing yourself, losing your humour and so on ..... it's vital to try to stay yourself, and to be thankful for what you do have in your life too Good luck on your journey

I would like to add, your looking at life from the perspective of being trapped. While your digging a hole underneath your imaginaire fence, you don't realize you only end up in another fenced of reality. You need to free your mind, I know it sounds almost mad, but it's the only way "out".

Here's what I did. So many years ago I had an idea. Pretend there's a God always reaching out and I was the one that cut off, unconsciously. My racing mind cut me off. Since then I've said one version or another of I surrender to God, and also asked, "Who am I?" surely a million or more times. I did it to attempt to reprogram my own mind, if possible, to consciously reconnect to God. It's been years now and either I have brainwashed myself into believing something that's not true or I actually am connecting to God. The way this seems to be happening is God just takes all of my emotional and mental trash and guides me through it on some very deep level. And he shows me the world is not really real and neither is the me I thought I was. This has worked for me. Or I'm going crazy. It does dispel suffering as well. And the strange thing is I catch "my mind" now actively surrendering stuff to God on a sort of auto pilot mode without my consciously initiating it. And there is a growing sense of continual release and connection to God/source, whatever we want to call it.

He mate, feel your struggles, it's all perspective steered by a believe system. I'm a 62 man, retired and a Dutch guy living since 2010 in a small village in the German mountains (lived my whole past live in big cities in The Netherlands). I hear you and you seem to fall from one trap into the other. It sounds like you went for a live changing route by believing this starts with a sixpack. It also seems your few is that there is more to live then just living it. Let me tell you, more is a big as a illusion as less. It's like people who go out in the weekend. I would always leave a great night when it was at it's peak. My mates would always stay until they got kicked out believing they got "more" out of it. It's just bollocks, most night the last hours it was only trying to replicate the optimum feeling that left them all hours before. Because as life is fading, so is every experience. Your idea of freedom seems also to exist in a believe system it exist outside of you, it's not. You would go absolutely nuts being locked up, while truly free people have a free mind and feel free in any situation, even in prison. You have a lot of deprogramming to do.

Too authentic and you'll end up on your own. Which isn't all that bad if you're fine with it, but most people have dependents, and as such, must be to a large extent, codependent themselves. True independence comes with a cost, most can't afford to pay. Suffering and sacrifice are innevitabilities. It's the choice, and meaning, that matters. (Who and what we suffer and sacrifice for.) I've never been one for needless sacrifice, myself, but no matter how far you will go to avoid it, you will be forced to. That is life. Many people live in/under a capitalist democracy. The first unwritten rule (IMO/E), is that hard work only truly pays if others are doing it (and you are reaping rewards). That's the system. That's the crux of 'hustle' culture. It doesn't always pay.
@caljohndavies

In a simple view, you can be 'other' determined....or 'self' determined. The first means you try to fit into what everyone or anyone else is doing, saying, etc. The second is you decide for yourself. Pan-determined is you look at the whole enchilada of the first two views as sort of a third, objective view...which then allows you to be 'balanced' as far as the first two. ex. in chess you can be player 1, or be player 2...or you can take a third bigger view of both sides that allows you to not be so sucked into either side.

Life is often difficult, wealthy, or not. If not sharing the journey with a real spouse and having children, you often have no reason to strive/suffer. The joy of having a child makes problems pale. My children gave purpose and desire to improve and grow. Without them what would matter for sure

How did you help humanity today (the video doesn't count)? Did you meet someone new today or walk up and start talking to a stranger?
