I dont think I've seen any comments explaining the name of this show, there is an afternoon show of Countdown, with it's own presenter and ordinary contestants, clever people doing a clever show.... then 8 out of 10 cats takes it over and Jimmy takes over as presenter. The the title 8 out of 10 cats comes from an old 'Whiskas' cat food advert, the slogan was '8 out of 10 cats prefer it', and as it's a game about surveys and statistics, it's the perfect title for 8 out of 10 cats.

A stitch isnt a cramp. A cramp feels like the muscles is tensing as hard as possible and as far as i know can happen on any limb maybe even every muscle. A stitch is the sharp pain you get when you breath after hard exercise mostly in my experience running

Probably already answered in the comments. If not, a 'Stitch', is that sharp pain that you get when running or doing exercise that you're not used to. It's a stabbing pain in the ribs, but it's not actually the ribs causing the pain.
