Mizuno was the first reason I started viewing this channel. Finch, Shiels, etc all test Mizuno and said great things, but you were the one to actually game them (I also love gaming my mizuno irons and driver). Congratulations!

I'm over 50 and never once considered Mizuno until buying a set this year. Far and away the best irons I've ever owned. I think Mizuno has played the long game and will assert itself as a front runner in sales and usage. You're getting in at a good time. Congrats!

Congrats. Got my first Mizuno irons and wedges this year. Fitted. Graphite shafts. Games changes. I love the overall look of the brand, the woods are now some of the best looking in the market and seem to be performing very well. Mizuno could easily add pro staff based on equipment, I think they just don’t want to carry the budget of the big brands. And thus they can come in a bit lower on price.

You built the channel, you take the rewards for you and your team! Well done! Humble of you to mention others including Club Champion. The equipment junkies are probably nerding out on Ian and Mike's channel anyway, so you focusing on what you love is probably going to serve you best! Equipment/Produst review is important -- provides a lot of info to viewers AND feedback to suppliers/manufacturers; being neutral is important, goes a long way for all parties! Many "creators" are doing just that with intent of improving the game overall. Great to see the partnership - as it should remain honest ... in the name of improvement! The "pairing" should expand on the "intent" (I believe it truly will!) and bring improvement geared through the coaching aspect "This is how..." !!! I think it's absolutely brilliant Matt, congratulations sunshine 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I've been a proud Mizuno Golf club user for a long time, since Faldo won his 3rd green jacket back in 1996 to be precise, the only thing that I haven't switched is balls but I understand that the Mizuno balls are really decent, I just need to find the one with a soft feel for around the greens, comparable to the Callaway Super soft. I always spotted the clothing and last I'd noticed you had Mizuno irons and metal woods in the bag anyway. Maybe I just saw what I wanted to see and pieced the rest together in my own head! Very good dicision in my oppinion! Mizuno is a great brand (love my JPX-921!) and you represent this brand for a long time now. The price for the new deal are the club reviews and I think you are right, there are enough channels that do that in a good way. Getting money and having more time to focus on the videos you are good at (coaching, matches and hopefuly more comps) sounds like a win-win situation!

Fair play Matt, imho Mizuno have nailed the irons for years, the wedges are very close to the top, the woods have improved immeasurably and the putters are class too. They also have an honest take on incremental improvement and improving any perceived weaknesses. Good luck with it Sir!!

Good for you mate. KZbin is saturated with review content and once you've watched one or two, you're not gonna watch more. Smart move for the channel IMO. Also, YT content is shifting and changing. People are getting a little jaded with all the current content types as it's been similar for years. You've got a few different concepts going on like your Pro support building to comps. A series like that is unique and interesting. It's wise to not divide your focus too much! Best of luck mate, I'll be watching!

Congrats Matt, many people forget that when we watch a video it’s a bit like looking at an iceberg, 90% of it is below the surface and we don’t see what’s going on. Your channel is a business so you need to earn and do what’s right to help pay for you and those working in the background. Recently had a Mizuno fitting for the 925’s went really well but just the first step for me I want to try / have fittings for a few brands and then work on the best 2 or 3 to get a set of irons that feel / work really well. Am I daft for thinking my D7 forged Wilson’s if I get to sub 18 handicap are more than capable of getting me even lower? And am I just falling for the hype of getting a custom fitting? There are plenty of channels that go through all the clubs that get released and for me it’s a so what, if I’m not in the market for new clubs it’s all blah blah blah. Luckily club where I get lessons has a good stock of clubs / brands and some irons I pick up and just feel nah not for me. I do think there is room for buying second hand then getting your local Pro to adjust lie to set them right for you. Looking forward to seeing your fitting session, do you find it more comfortable hitting new clubs out onto a range compared to indoors into a screen? I have a major issue when just hitting indoors does not feel right.
