Hi Tom , been watching your content and really enjoying it. Can you help me with ball position and how to find the correct position when out on course and don’t have any reference points ie alignment sticks. I can find it easily in middle of swing it’s when i have to go slightly in front of middle I start to struggle, as i have no reference to work off. Regards Jeff. Keep up the great content.

Hi Jeff, thanks for watching. It definitely gets tougher on the course if you’re unsure what your ball position should be. Practice and repetition is the best way then you’ll start to stand more naturally over the ball with each club on the course. Something you could do is stand with feet together at the start of your set up routine then take a side step with each foot to position your feet. Example with a driver you would take a very small step with your lead foot and a bigger step with your trail foot. This would leave the ball position forwards in your stance. If you’re still struggling, seek some advice from your local PGA pro and tell them you want to work on a routine to get the perfect ball position every time
